I have been tracking my MINI but have not posted here. I was on the MINI2 site. I am glad to see alot you are tracking like I am. My MINI was born on 12/06/02 and scheduled on the TRICOLOR also. I am hoping to make the Terrier as I am also in "WAITLISTED" group. I ordered my MINI on my birthday back in July and am now on pins and needles. I just can not wait to motor on the streets of western Washington. I am still hoping for an end of January delivery.

Some party our MC's and MCS's are going to have on the Terrier. Hopefully they will be rested from all the merriment, geeze just thing spending all the holidays at sea, lets home none of our loved ones elope at sea.

 

Too Early, not enough coffee here....the previous message should say, "Geeze, think..." Since my MCS is named "Hilfe", maybe she'll fall for for one ot the BMW 745i's on board... I think I am over the edge!!!

 

It looks like my membership of the January/Dec club is shifted towards the December delivery club. The website posts an expected delivery of Dec 25th! I hope to pick it up on my birthday, Dec 30th.

It looks like the TAKAMINE is leaving on the 21th and arriving in Port Hueneme on the 11th of Jan. I have not heard of any MINI's on it yet, but it could be a back up for the MINI's that do not make the TERRIER. I would not mind being on the TAKAMINE as it arrives in Port Hueneme before the TERRIER. There are now 699 MINI's waiting in Southampton.

That's not all the ships. My MCS is at port and scheduled to depart Southhampton on 27Dec02 on the FAUST and arrive in Brunswick, GA on 10Jan03. My dealer (Roadshow) is in Memphis area, so no Panama Canal trip for me.

 

Sorry for any confusion; the list of ships I posted is for the (best) west coast .

To track the other ships going to all the others east coast ports would take some time....

 

If anyone's baby is on the Orion Leader, I saw it go through the Miraflores Lock on the Panama Canal this afternoon.

I've been keeping an eye peeled for the Maersk Wind. My MCS should be passing by at any time bound for a Christmas Eve arrival at the port in California.

Here I go. Scheduled to leave the Factory on 10 January, and I am already having kittens. I ordered a Stainless skid plate from Moss, and think I will build some sort of half assed alter until MY Mini FINALLY arrives. I ordered from a dealer in Florida, even though I live in Colorado. I plan on making the trip to retrieve it into a "motoring" event. Help Me... I don't want to wait anymore.

 

Just checked the shipping site.... the Terrier has left Southhampton, but..all cargo, except those minis received from the 16-18th still show on waitlist status. I called ASKMINI and they said their system still shows my mini at status 193, waiting for ship assignment. I asked about the Tricolor sinking and the gentleman on the telephone said they have not gotten any official word on how this is affecting shipments, but he is sure there will be further delays.

Boo hoo.... still waiting to enjoy the food on the cruise!

It takes the shipping company a couple of days to update the site. I am hoping we made the boat and did not miss it. The next ship is on the 21st. Let's hope we are onboard the TERRIER.

I am in Southern Cal with my mini going to Irvine Mini.

Just checked the tracking site and it is now showing some MINI's have been loaded out of our group. My MINI is still not loaded. Let's go people check the site and see if your car is loaded.

it says mine was booked on the Terrier on the 16th, but it doesn't say loaded or anything. Should it?

The Terrier has sailed already. But the tracking always comes back with "no data". what gives?

Whats up guys, I just tracked my mini and it is booked on the Don Juan. Any one else on this ship. Arrival is 1/2/03 in ny.

 

After watching the tracking site with the TRICOLOR I think it automatically sets the vessel to Sailed if it is the date it was suppose to sail. They are still loading if you search by booking number you can see other MINI's in a loaded state.

 

I have been reassigned to the TAKAMINE (WAITLISTED again)which sets sail on the 21st. This sucks.......the TAKAMINE is going straight to PORT HUENEME with no stops anywhere else, and it is coming from Spain then Germany so hopefully it will be able to take more MINI's than the TERRIER. :evil:

I just noticed the same thing. Lots of us were moved to the Takamine, while some made the Terrier. Interesting.
Oh, well at least we are making progress as we are not on a wait list status for the Takamine!!

Dammit. Just found out that I'm on the waitlist for Takamine (shouldn't it be TakaminI?).

Since that has sailed, I guess i'm waiting for the next one...dammit.
