Where do you find this information? I made a separate post asking this question but no one has responded. Is this in the MINIUSA.com Owner's Lounge (where?) or are you calling for this information?

I would recommend just calling your MA. Since it is so close to delivery they will be the best source of information. The MINIUSA Site didn't list my car as at the dealer until 3 days after my MA called to let me know it was there. They also knew what day the car would be delivered about 3 to 4 days prior to the truck pulling into the dealership.

 

Last night via E-mail, I received my first MINIUSA post-delivery satisfaction survey.

Has anyone already received theirs?

 

To davidac: On my Tai Shan summaries, I acquire my info from the Tai Shan posters in here. I have no additional sources.

To answer your question concerning that 10/10 EDD that I posted, I went back to your previous postings and saw no such date. Please accept my apologies for that; I prepared that summary quickly and may have mixed that 10/10 EDD from a different poster. :smile:

John: don't sweat it. As it turned out you were right even if you did pull the date out of thin air. The email comment was for my MA not you. But he called me today so I guess I can't complain too much.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!! My dealer called me before I had the chance to call them. My mcs is at the dealer this morning & they going to bust hump so I can take delivery tomorrow. Will still keep my fingers crossed.

 

Way to go, David! Maybe that thin air stuff has a meaning after all. Great if it worked picking the horses.

Your dark silver with black my wife saw a few days ago. She told me I made a mistake; should have ordered the dark silver. Really a nice looking car.

Be sure to post some pics and give us your early driving impressions.

My car has no problems so far... the only problem I had with delivery (and this is soooo minor is they forgot to put my lights on DRL)... the Lauderdale MINI dealership is fantastic!! They are sooo friendly! Highly recommended for Fort Lauderdale/Miami/West Palm area.... its worth a drive... no markup... no forced accessories... no forced anything... My salesperson (Debra) was top notch and the manager is great too (Larry)

Now... only 4 hours till I get to drive again

Yes I did; I got it a few days ago.
Typical of MINI USA, the survey was not Netscape friendly. It would not let me click the survey buttons in Netscape. Also, the "comments" section had a limitation on length. I had to fire off another email to them to complete my comments.

Typical of MINI USA; can't get the simplest things right......

Yep, mine was already installed when I arrived. There were no installation scratches either....

 

Jay- Congratulations! Your MINI is awesome! Thanks so much for posting the pix, cuz mine's gonna look just like that, finally I can have proper representation on my desktop. don't see alot with the black bonnet stripes, think it looks fantastic.

Mine came also with the MINI FINI cupholder.

 

TAI SHAN status. I have been waiting for this one! My LA COP is at Mini of Towson today according to my MA. To show a reference point, the car was EDDed last week on the OL at 10/04, and was changed yesterday to 10/08. Tomorrow we meet!!

christfb1 was on the tanabata with me and jmusic, both of them have taken delivery, I want to know if mine's at the dealer yet! I'm calling my parents later to see if the dealer has called and left the good news.

Last time the lovely parents talked to Scott (the MA) they told him to only call if it didnt show up! Why do they do this to me, to torture me I suppose, grrrrr! I guess I'll have to resort to email. And on top of that he was on vacation today and will be back late tomorrow or something. Watch me get up there and there'll be no MINI in the lot for me. I would :evil: and do some more . I guess I'll just send an e-mail to the Manager. It'd better be there since jmusic and chris already have theirs!
