I can't get into the owner's lounge on my i-mac running OS-X and I'm not very savy, any suggestions.

I have an older Mac and am using OS-X and don't have much of a problem. Private Message me for help so we don't clog this board up with that thread.

Let me know how old your mac is, what version of OSX and what browser you are using.

I too just moved to "Scheduled for Production" no vin # yet. 9/12 build date.
I've been keeping myself extra busy this summer to try to make the time go by quicker. Tuesday I'll be heading to San Diego for a week then on the 14th I'm going backpacking for a week. When I get back home my little Mini could be on it's way

Is it just me, or does anyome else find reading here on MCO about all the problems people are having with their MINIs depressing? I've decided to stick to reading the CWFOC and other upbeat posts that will keep me going during this long wait until October.

I am a new member of the CWFO club. Just ordered my PW/PW MC
last week. I've named him Sgt. Pepper. Already miss the Silk Green
MC I traded in but am looking forward to the new one. Some new things
I am getting this time around are the Sport Package and R90 wheels.
Bring on those falling leaves.

 

I just placed my deposit on mine yesterday.. build date 9/26... motoring ad says oct delivery, i'm skeptical given the 6-8 weeks also mentioned.

I can;t wait!

Welcome sdanaher, you must be in the middle of the country, where you lucky folk can just walk up in the dealership and walk out with a production number :smile:

Actually I got it from MainLine Mini - outside Philly! I got lucky that a model coming in in Oct was what i wanted - to a T!

It is a Cooper, not and S, jet black with a white top, silver rims(16" alloy). The interior is Black/Grey leatherette with anthracitte trim on the dash.

Premium, sports, cwp, rain sensor and auto dimming mirror.

How is insurance on these with respect to other cars?

Story of me this weekend!
I have mentioned that i have bought some Ts and the jacket from MINIUSA, and they sent me another email second day ask me to call. I have no idea what it is about! i called and they said that my Credit card has been declined. Funny thing is that i just use it about 10 minutes before i called them(put some gas into my Camry). anyway, give them another number, it worked. and they told me that it will not ship until the 3rd. since the holiday!!!
Now i gotta wait and track 2 things from MINIUSA :evil: :evil: :evil: !!!!!!

 

Got my VIN: TC48987.
Can't wait. At least it gave me a good excuse to get an iPod.

By the way, I ordered a personalized plate too: KOOPR*(star symbol).

I can't wait to get mine - I just graduated from college and got a job - and had to buy a new car, and this is the best possible choice i could have made!

 

Hey Ryephile, did you ever research the rest of the VIN number story? I seem to be the only TJ number?

She just post" Got my VIN: TC48987."!!!! When i see it i was almost passed out!!(lucky i am not too old, otherwise who knows where am i reading this now!!)

How many 09/12 left here without VIN!!! i think mine is closer now since i'm the very first 09/19(as far i know). i will be right after 09/12s!!!
good thing to know that my CONAN will be the first 04 DS in GA state!!

Finally back in town and have access to a computer to track my MINI!!!!! :smile: :smile: The GREAT news....I'm 'Scheduled for Production' . I have had a 9/12 production date since the end of June. BUT........the really creepy part, I also got my VIN #. Good right????? Well, kind of. You ask....how the heck could it not be good???? Well, the number is TD74666 !!!! Yikes!! Looks like I need to change that personalized plate to 'DEVILCAR'.

I still need to go back and see who else is nearby in the line. It's great to finally start moving along in the process!!
