You should be driving something with a little more clearance in Panama. How about a helicopter? Any progress there?

LS-1..... There goes the shoebox boot. With engine in the rear, wouldn't be much room for anything else......but sure would be be bad a$$. The AM6 (6cyl version which sat crosswise), you had to drop the motor to swap out the inner 3 spark plugs....just think, that they were about 4in from the fire wall which was on your back side, and yes! it was chick magnet. Guess it was a good thing I was single (or about to be) at the time. Not very good for hauling around 2 kids....but they were small at the time.

My first flight is on Saturday Plenty of ground clearance in one of them...

I'm also looking into a motorcycle for getting around down here. We shall see.

So what have you been doing with yourself in Panama? So I take it, the next time we are there, you can take us sightseeing in your helicopter? Hope all is going well with you!

I went with the day to day tire that MINICHEF recommended. After all I put about 30-40 thousand miles on my car a year I need the best tread wear at a good price. After all my last tires only lasted a year! This tire seamed to hold up to all the qualification.

Good choice Tina! I have been happy with my General's. Not the best for ultimate cornering but great for the day to day, and I play hard on the transition roads here in the south bay. they seem to be wearing very well thank you

I like the Ferrambo. It is just a show car and totally impractical for driving, but it looks sweet. Now the fiero/ testarossa makes me want to puke

[quote=Fracky;2573340][quote=willum;2573324]Why......just why would anyone Do THAT..??

It's kinda like the mountain - it's there, so you've gotta climb it. At least they chose a valuable car like a Rambler & not a Yugo.

O.K. Joe.... it's in bad taste to put the word valuable in the same sentence as Rambler unless you are talking scrap metal value.
The last time I saw a valuable Rambler it was in the form of a cube.

I don't think we will be back there that soon. I guess you will just have to come back to California and take us out for some sightseeing here. Sounds like your having fun. Enjoy.

Tongue in cheek mang! Speaking of "cube", do you know where we can have the Frackmobile crushed into a cube?

You pay for the charter and its a deal. I can think of some amazing places in the sierras to fly to. Or the coast would be interesting. There is a place in Fresno that rests the type of chopper I will be type rated in, so that works well.

I'm excited about this weekend though. It should be interesting!

Actually you can sell whats left over to any one of the auto recyclers in the area. Could be worth some bucks you could put towards some mods for the new Fracky II.

I had to throw my 2 yen in on that thread. I just don't get it. You remember that one scene in Shrek where Shrek & Donkey get to the top of the little hill & Shrek says "I guess somebody's overcompensating for something." Yeahhhhhh.....
