You got that right Chief. I can't believe I walked away with a concussion & bruising. My buddy Dave's a bit worse for wear (ribs, bruised lung & broken scapula), but all-in-all considering everything the design & performance of the safety equipment is up to par & then some.
Are you sure he wasn't driving? Then again, I found your size "humongous" shoes on the pedals. They're in good shape, too, for being crushed down there.

A GP would be sick. And you wouldn't have to worry about cutting out the back seat belts.

Jeez Joe what a mess!! Good to hear you and your bud are survivors of what looks like a deadly impact. Hope the recovery process for you both goes well. You both are in our thoughts

The problem with M7 deffuseri is you have to relocate the exhaust and battery case. The one I'm looking at I don't think you have to change anything.

Neat, I bet that's not cheap and probably not easy to get over here. Planning a trip to Japan with a big suitcase? It doesn't look like it will fit with the stock exhaust, but most aftermarket mufflers are a lot smaller.

I kinda like it, but compared to the F430'ish aggressiveness of the M7 piece I might end up going that direction. Just outta curiousity, how much is this bad boy (shipping included)?

I'm not buying anything right now. First off I want to make sure my buddy gets taken care of & everything's settled for his family. After that I've gotta square things away with the insurance company & then I'll start looking for a replacement Mini. I've never been in an accident so this is all new territory for me. This afternoon I'll be working on my Excel spreadsheet with parts, so in case I have any questions I'll give you guys a buzz.

Today, I'm feeling better. I have a bit of hitch in my getalong & am bruising in places I didn't know could bruise. All in all though, I'm doing well & Cookie's been taking great care of me. So, have I mentioned yet about the ironic title of this thread?

Fracky I haven't gotten a price yet I'll let you know as soon as I do, but it will be cheeper than M7 because you have to change the exhaust system and then add the deffuser. This one looks like you can use the exhaust you already have. We will find out. I have my people looking into it.

Well considering what he said here:"It shows just how ignorant the mini community is" and here: "this community is so old being old racist farts" and then proceded to say: "anything any MINI vendor has ever put out look like crap." I'm not sure where you don't see "foot in mouth disease" in this post

Hey Joe, if you are not feeling up to it, someone needs to take over this month's meeting location search and setup. The third Friday is the 21st this month. Thanks.
