Sorry guy. I though it would link since it's just an image file. No need for the snippy comments.

P.S. fixed

I've never been a big fan of the 'coffee can' exhausts, but it almost looks right with the shape of the cut-outs in the rear bumper valance. It isn't what I'd want, but it's nice work.

It's more thoughtful than most 'coffee can' installs I've seen, but no matter how good the work (design / install) or how well made the units, they never speak of 'quality' or 'good design' to me.

I always love the "rice" comments. It shows just how ignorant the mini community is to the REAL automotive tuning scene.

Those are APEXi cans. They are one of the ORIGINAL imported companies. A split off from HKS. They are TOP quality. With welds that make anything any MINI vendor has ever put out look like crap. The sound is equally nice. Not the typical generic "rice" can you think of.

But this community is so old being old racist farts that you see a stereo type and dont even understand where it came from.

Also, it's SEMA.

At the end of the day you guys can like what you will. I'll like what I will. In the end. We'll see who's car is at SEMA. :P

I think your comment is completely uncalled for, no one was attacking you, and like you said everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I come from the European modding scene and there are ways to make nice, good quality mufflers without them looking like bulbous pieces of crap. It doesn't matter how good of quality they are if they don't look good.

I don't appreciate being called an old racist fart or ignorant. I am a member of this community and can appreciate that some of the posts here can lean towards a posting of preference with no discussion to back it up, but there is no call for that kind of post.

I've had a lot of respect for you because of your efforts in the MINI tuner community... you don't get to 4k+ posts on NAM without helping someone, but inappropriate posts that ascribe blanket characteristics to the communty as a whole is a quick way to lose the respect you have built.

Aren't you associated with Detroit Tuned? I might be wrong... but, if so, do you really feel this way about your entire customer base?

I may be an old fart, but racist is not one of them. MY comment was meant to be in jest but obviously taken way too seriously. I come from a long line of American cars with lots of muscle and ingenuity and it took a lot to convert to something like the mini, but I am glad I did. I suppose my comment comes from seeing far too many of those types of muffler/tail pipes on the rides of imports driven recklessly in my community and nearly running me over in the process. It's too bad they are not at SEEMA and not doing Autocross legally on weekends instead of endangering other street racing.

A "Hello Kitty" exhaust pipe! Excellent!

Agree the "racist" comments are out of line.

Now, for the clueless what is SEMA?

LOL I didnt say this to any one of you specifically. Take it as you will. It's just an observation.

As for agranger bringing up Detroit Tuned. My comments are unrelated. I work with just about everyone in the MINI community. Even MINI USA

It is a fact that people have their own opinions of what they like and dislike. There are certain trends that are popular for a reason. There are stereo types that get blown out of context. ETC ETC

One thing over all for those who dont like it. Mom's USED to say, "if you dont have anything nice to say..."

It is disappointing for me as a person who loves all cars and styles when done right to hear the negative comments. It gets old. It saddens me cause I so love the community.

Again, for those of you who took it personal. Chill... I really dont have that much time invested. Just sharing some well needed hotness to our tiny pond.
