All this talk of track days is giving me the ich again. Thanks guys.
But I need new "shoes" first....daughter getting married next month, and 'oh by the way, the Christmas holidaze are upon us. + my portfolio seems to have taken a major hit these past few months.
Maybe I'll just run up my credit cards and ask for a "bail out"......

I'm bailing out in March ( retirement ). I figure I'll put in for a few billion in bail out money. That should carry me through.

Welcome to the retirement community. I think you'll find there are some things that don't need much money to make you happy. I.E. going to a usually busy place at 2:00 Tues. afternoon. Listing to the cars going to work on a rainy morning as you turn over to get another few minutes of well deserved sleep because you decided to stay up late for what ever reason. Doing a track day in the middle of the week without having to get permission from anyone other than the wife. Going to a place of business (Custom Mini) and watching them work. ( I'm going to pay for that one. ) The list is endless. Be creative and enjoy the ride.
Between golf and the Mini I'll have more than a enough things to do. Besides just because I'm retiring I still have to keep up with Fracky in the modding maddness area and maybe a few more track days. Hell by me staying home and not going to work it saves me about $700.00 to $800.00 per month in fuel. I drive 160 to 170 mikes a day to work( not in the Mini) and hour and a half to two hours each way.
You and Steve up for a couple for Mc muffins? I'll stop on the way and pick some up.
Thanks for asking, but I'll be ok. I'm going to smog the car bright & early in the morning (don't know how long that will take) & then I'll jam over to CMS when I'm done. Look forward to seeing you again!
