Yeah, that was on the list for Fracky-1. I was looking into battery solutions because of his stereo system. The little gel battery wasn't going to cut it. If he buys the classic, we won't have to worry about a lot of the mods, but the R&D for more mods on the classic would be interesting. Also, I bet there are a lot of V-Tec mods available. How about 500hp in a classic.

Nobody said anything about driving it, just modding it. He's better off leaving it at the shop, anyway.

Touche!!

Well, here's my order list right now for Fracky "part deux":
Cosworth big-valve head
M7 tunnel diffuser
M7 CF challenge wing
M7 CF aero-kit splitter
Header - still trying to figure out which part to run
Way Motor Works - brake ducts

I'm going to do these parts, let Dr.Steve dive under the hood & hopefully be ready for AMVIV - that's my goal.

Does that mean you have added a second pedistal?
A permenant one for the "original" Frackey Cube and one for the 2nd generation

I wonder if they still crush cars into cubes. Now all I see now are flattened cars which are not very aesthetic in my opinion. They don't make good end tables or pedestals, either.

The Frackmobile needs a proper crushing, into a cube (once stripped of all usefull or salable items), so that she can be placed up on a permanent pedestal at Custom MINI Shop.
Will take vacation time to attend the Frackmobile wake.

I'll keep you posted Chef! It'd be great to see you again & I know you'd enjoy the time away from the restaurant. Dr.Steve, what kind of cat-back exhaust setup are we going to run with the straight-through exhaust? I'm guessing we'll go the normal hushpower route? If anybody wants dibs on the Borla race setup lemme know, I'll make a steal-of-a-deal on it.

Don't count your exhaust before we roll the car over to see if it's intact. The mufflers may be OK but the resonator and pipes may be toast judging by the visible damage to the header.

Hey, one of you guys told me of a local newspaper that had inexpensive rates for publishing fictitious business names. I can't remember which paper, but if you know of one, please tell me. Thanks.

Steve

Edit: Nevermind, I just go a card in the mail from Mountain Press telling me that they charge $20 for the whole deal.

Condolences

Hey Joe! Sorry it's taken me so long to offer my condolences about the car, but I'm really glad to hear that you're OK! After I saw the pics of the car I was shocked that you survived! Someone has more plans for you I guess! Anyway, glad to hear you're OK. Good luck with the new car! C-ya! Jimini J

Not being an attorney, don't hold me to this, but if I am not mistaken, I believe fictitious business names must be published in a newspaper of "general circulation". I am not famaliar with Mountain Press, but in Fresno, I know that we (the City) are required to use either the Fresno Bee or the Fresno Business Journal. Both are expensive. You may be speaking about outside of Fresno. If so, never mind......

Fresno County gave me a list of 12 papers in the area that are "adjudicated by Superior Court, County of Fresno." The Mountain Press is one of the obscure papers on the list. Evidently, it is bloated with fictitious business name notices because it is so inexpensive (cheap.)

Aaaah, good to know. I know I cringe everytime I have to pay for a publication notice. We could feed a small village on the publication fees we have to pay in order to meet general circulation requirements for all of our notices, public hearings, etc. I will have to check into it to see if we can go a different route as well, perhaps we have other options.......

Well, you're gonna have to hate me & Dr.Steve too.

Personally, I think this is the tale of the tape.

Dr.Steve, did the appraiser call &/or come by? Thanks for passing on the binder I put together.
