See I would rather be in a area with very few modded MINIS, that way your car is different.

We have some lightly modded cars in our group, but it sounds like we're the core "modding" group of MidCal.
Well I guess we should start a new thread for this. I didn't think Chris would want to do this considering he just did a JCW tune on his car, but I think this is going to be much better than that. Jan had some great ideas, One of which, he is going to get an extra flasher thingy, that he will mail out to someone that has had the new flash overwriten, say by the dealer, that will have your car personally in there to rewrite it back. He is also looking for good shops all over the country to do this for him, hmm. I think I know of one . Anyway should this post be transfered to a new thread? And I think the Admin. needs to do this, correct?

Having this in its own thread is a good idea. More people will see it and chime in.

Of course its better I never said it was better the only claim i've ever made is its better than stock. I paid $75 and your going to paid $500 so it better be better. I would love to have this done but I need Brakes wheels and tires before I do this.

Just start a new thread it would be way to much work to pull the posts and move them. Plus I don't think Robert can do it.

I'm sorry Chris. I wasn't claiming that you said anything, I just didn't think you would want to do it at this time, but if maybe we get enough people, it might be cheaper, then we can all do it .

Dude, it's only money. Think of the RMW custom tune as an investment in great memories with your Cooper buddies. I think Jen can respect that.

Its cool I just didn't want anyone to misunderstand. People on this board (not so much in this thread) have a way of twisting your words.

My mini's back home. Great service from East Bay Mini. It was towed in and when they were finished they towed it back to me. The car was picked up on Monday and returned to me Tuesday evening, all washed and vacuumed. The problem was a module that relays a signal to the transmission telling it to shift. See all on Friday at the meeting. Ken

I had to shorten that sleeve, also. I've only installed the lower right motor mount big and little bushings. I hope the others are ok without modding.

Well I have an 06 but I am looking at doing a retrofit of the 02 upper motor mount so I don't have to deal with that crappy hydraulic one that is currently on there.

Okay . I'm going to let Joe, aka Fracky, start up a new thread for this, that way it will be easier to track who is in.

I'm glad. It's a long way to drive for you especially if it isn't fixed.

Hey, your welcome. It's always nice to help out people who are interested making their MINIs more fun than they already are.
