Damn post ******. Hey, John, have you learned anything new about your job? Or are you just having a nice vacation? I sure could have used your help last Saturday! I was massively busy, but didn't seem to get anything done.

post ****** me Going to class to learn how to do a job that I have been doing for 7 years is fun The instructors are under the gun to make sure that the information is correct as I point out when errors are made and it is a good refresher over all. Looks like I will be headed back to Lemoore on the 15th so I should see you in the shop on the 16th and 17th I just wont be able to make the meeting on the 16th going to a football game and the 17th run I had previous engagements. To bad you don't have a computer near the lift and double blue tooth phone headsets one per phone then you could really multitask

Bailing is such a harsh word. I would rather call it helping a friend out and besides my nailing resembles scare tactics. After I get done hitting all around the nail with the hammer it just ducks into the wood

If Tom "bails"/"previous engagements", I have asked DJ if he would want to go and he said yes. So we might lose Tom so that they can do some hard labor, but at least it is helping out Steve! Don't worry Jim it looks like we will have about 10 cars (as long as everyone who voted on the date shows up). Now we just better keep our fingers cross that the pass stays clear and open!

I guess "bailing" was kinda harsh . But I'm having second thoughts also. If we go we would be staying the night at my brothers on the way back and would have to stuff the kids in the car too Plus I really need to make a trip down south to get retuned, I'm under 20 mpg right now You could make it a all girl run and go to Gilroy

Ya right we still have 9 cars going and unless everyone else bails and I doubt that, that is going to happen. If everyone does bail then I will be with the guys at CMS (I rather spend my money there then on shopping at Gilroy) or Down in Lemoore for Tattoo Day.

I'm here, just accessing the internet super highway. Looking randomly for my MINI Cooper fix, when what should I stumble across, another MINI Cooper application for my iPhone! I downloaded MINI Liquid Assets even before I had my iPhone and last night stumbled across Glam Speed. Now tonight I found MINI Roadside Service. Too cool.

http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/21/m...hones-w-video/

There is also Zipcar if you really need a MINI fix if out of town without your car and Punch Buggy Mobile a game that lets you track cars on a road trip. One of the cars to be counted is a yellow MINI! Now even if you do not have your MINI with you, a virtual MINI is close by.

The title of this forum says it all in my opinion and when I was watching the TV last night I had to laugh when GMC decided to take one aspect of the Mini and try to compare. Funny they don't talk about reliability, turning, acceleration or anything. Thankfully I own and drive a Mini, I would love to see this GMC on Hwy 49 going to Jamestown with MidCal Mini's. Ice chests did not stand a chance

No unfortunately they still do not have MINI driving on the phone. MINI Liquid Assets is very much like an arcade game where you have to try to insert floating coins into moving MINIs. There are various levels of difficulty and of course obstacles to get around. Glam Speed tracks your speed through GPS (have not tried it yet) and it looks like the dash of your MINI Cooper. Punch Buggy is a kid's driving game only the electronic version. Three can play and you count various types of yellow cars to earn points on those long trips. It keeps your score electronically and makes honking noises. Where was this when we were kids, Dad would have just loved the extra honking noises. MINI Roadside Assistance, allows you to register with MINI via your VIN number and calls MINI Roadside Assistance and allows you to transmit your GPS location, the type of issue you have (flat tire, battery, mechanical, etc., and even hit a 911 button if you are in danger (carjacking, etc.) MINI Liquid Assets and MINI Roadside were both developed by BMW.

I know, not the same as the real thing, but when without your MINI, you have to make do. The MINI International Shop does have some driving games you can download to your computer. Power Slide Parking is a lot of fun.

https://shop.bmwgroup.com/is-bin/INT...tart?shop=MINI

After clicking the link, on the left, go to entertainment and media.

Oh there is also a MINI News application that keeps you updated on the latest MINI developments in the automotive world. NAM needs an application that launches you straight to NAM. Any App developers out there? Anyway, time for housework, ugh. Everyone have a great weekend.

Hi all.
Peter down at www.minspeed,net is haveing a sale right now. I was just looking and he has some serious bargins on all sorts of cool stuff. I have bought from him in the past and he supplies great customer service. I just hope he is only trying to reduce his inventory. He carries stuff that no one else has.
