Well kinda figured that But what the heck for? Every MINI I have seen already has a tach.

 

I believe Chet will be back on Saturday which won't leave us any time to get this done. I don't understand why nobody sent me the shipping info a month ago so I had it when I needed it. I am swamped this week.

Good Morning MidCal See you in a couple of weeks The coffee is hot and the road is calling unfortunately I have a passenger that I have to wait on but it is almost time to go as San Diego is calling.

Ok MidCal I take off this morning to get my car serviced mainly to get the hood scoop replaced and to see my daughter in Pomona. I had purchased my car at the dealer in Santa Ana so I knew it was close to my daughter. Arrive on time after a four hour trip having listened to the radio lost the signal. So switched to the only CD I had in the car listened to all 14 songs. Changed to my Ipod that I had purchased before my last cruise with custom engraving on the back with my name on it. Left the car for almost 5 hours went back with Suzie to pick it up as she had driven down latter in the morning so we took the loaner car back having replaced the 2 gallons of gas I had used. Pulled the car off the lot commenting on how bad the wash job was but really wanting to get my M7 heat shield installed to protect the newly installed Carbon Fiber scoop that the SA had managed to get for me at no cost. Takes minutes and having carried my tool container marked Craftsman with my Mac Book computer sitting on top of it in my boot I felt ready. So we start to leave the dealership area and when I turn on the music it goes to song 1 on the CD, strange I think it should be on the I pod so I look down and not only is the Ipod gone so is the cable to hook it to my cars usb port. Now I will be dealing with the management on how they are going to replace my Ipod and cable especially since the SA said this is not the first time it has happened. I guess it could have been worse had they actually looked in the boot

 

That sucks. What is wrong with people today.

That totally sucks Chief & I'd be more than a little pissed about something like that. Just makes me appreciate Dr.Steve all the more. He's the only person I entrust the FPD to - no questions asked. Big up's to Dr.Steve for always being honest & taking great care of us.

 

The sad part is that they seemed to know it is happening

That's is not cool. You would think that your baby would be safe at a dealership. Hope everything works out and they replace it

 

I honestly thought about the contents of my car for a brief second then dismissed it since it was at a Mini dealership surely they would not steal from their customers I guess they answered that thought but whom ever took it was stupid its laser engraved by Apple and they left the $500 + in tools and the $1200 laptop. I should get a call from the customer service manager tomorrow it will be interesting what they have to say.
