WHOOHOO,

Just got in to Copper Mtn. for MINIS in the Mountains. Hanging out in the room, Katie's foot acting up so it is on ice, just watching big screen t.v. above fireplace, clicking on the computer to say HI.

I wish I was there, but you can report on the event for me. Check out what's being sold in comparison to AMVIV. Have fun.

Gotta be a cheap knock off if it is not put out by RONCO and what no ginsu knives if you act now, or is it that they will throw in the "60's" collection as your bonus

I use a Sham-Wow on my "clunker" but not my MINI.

Returned home last night from a road trip to Portland for family get-together. I had a chance to take some twisties along the Columbia River Gorge. I had fun working the brake and clutch with the Hill-Holding Anti-Rollback system that they put in the brakes. Appears that the "oldies but goddies" who drove air cooled VW's now all have MINI's

Kathleen is driving down from Depoe Bay and called to tell me that her window took a rock and now has a 4 inch crack. Steve she had the winding noise back near the steering area in the engine compartment after she shut down the car any idea?

If you drive long distances, cracks are a fact of life. Whining sound? Power steering pump not shutting off? Does the battery go dead?

Steve

As I told her I would wait till she gets back home to change it if possible and if thats the worst thing that happens she is doing great. The battery seems to be holding well and it is intermittent when the noise happens, I did not ask her yet however I wonder if its when its warm that it does it? She is now at Lemoore.

Dr.Steve, thanks for letting me hang out at the shop all weekend. It was fun getting to see the whole engine come apart & then get put back together. Very, very cool. Lemme know if you need anything in the meantime, since I'm back chained to my desk.

Note: JIMINNImachine, I've already e-mailed my buddy at STaSIS about that kinda stuff.
