The big one with this topic is the injectors need to be scaled & not just thrown in to "see what happens". So, there's a baseline but it's the right kind of baseline. JIMINNImachine's car is wicked quick & sounds great!

Would have been tough to run some dynos then try and get in there and change out the injectors, alittle hot Really no need for a baseline before injectors, as they needed to be there anyway. These are some sweet looking injectors, 6 hole as compared to 2 hole in the 380 JCW's. Much better atomization. And only $300. Will sell my 380's for $200 and final cost, $100. SRTech, the only thing concerns Hubie has with the Brisk plugs, is that they dont project to far into the cylinder. But he said they are most likely fine.

I noticed that the densos project just slightly farther, but I'm tired of replacing them all at 30-40k when the tips burn down. I can't tell the difference in performance. What does Hubie recommend?

Hey, it's only 102° in the shop right now. It was still 95° at 9:30 last night.

It comes from being semi-retired. Once he moves to the newer facility he will have to work again which should keep him in a little better shape. Or he can do like Tron Chief and take his coffee intravenously every hour.

Maybe we should move your 5 ton A/C unit to the shop. Of course, I would go broke paying the electric bill. It only made it to 103° today inside and it's cooling off faster than yesterday.

There's a real problem with that hat. You have to be in the direct sunlight to make it work which sort of defeats the purpose of the hat.

Was looking for prices on a Mustang dyno for Steve and found this! This is where I just got my dyno tuning done Check out the difference between the "Dynapak" and the "Mustang" on the 2nd graph, Also notice that he calls his dyno, " a heartbreaker."

008 Mitsubishi Evo GSR: Baseline Dyno Run At Dynamic Autosports

In preparation of the installation of GST's boost pill assembly and the AMS twin-tip exhaust, Bryan from GST and I ran a few baseline dyno pulls on Dynamic Autosport's Mustang dyno.
You might be asking yourself why we bothered to do this since we hadn't changed anything yet compared to the last time we visited a dyno. The reason is because different types of dynos produce different results, and we wanted to make sure we were comparing turnips to turnips.
Hit the jump to see what I mean.
Click the charts for a larger version.
First, this is the baseline result here at Dynamic Autosports' Mustang dyno:

Below is this same result overlaid with what the same car in the exact same state of tune produced on RRE's Dynapack dyno (orange):

When we mentioned to Eddie Kim, owner of Dynamic Autosports, that our baseline power was 267-hp he remarked, "That's a pretty stout result. Our dyno is a definitely a heartbreaker."
Indeed. I've beaten this drum many times before, but the mantra bears repeating: The dyno is a tuning tool. And that's what we'll be doing with it in the next blog entry.

Mike, you don't happen to have one of Hubie's MegaMINI cams laying around anywhere do you? When Jim & I were at his place on Saturday he said they were on back order. My engine's begging to be torn down, but we're waiting on this part.

In Louisiana Chicory Coffee is very popular. When it was a French Colony the soldiers suplimented their coffee ration with roasted Chicory root. Try it somtime, I like it.
