Well Joe........I could probably suggest another way to fly, and get out of a cite, but I don't want to give out my secret!
Chris will have the same privilege soon enough!

Someone has to pay the wages of those in blue.. California is having a hard time figuring out who can rub two pennies together and make change... I do know that offering a doughnut to a Fresno PD officer on a cold Saturday as he investigated a collision did not earn me any points. It seemed like a good thing to do since we had two dozen doughnuts that morning at CMS..

Yeah, I warned you it wasn't a good idea. He hung around the area all day looking for you.

Well it's official....the M62 is back! Joe did you save some cash for your Mini? Here is a quote from Mike at Mynes on "Motoring Alliance":

Thank you sir...

The SC is the M62 unit with Electric waterpump and custom IC horns.

This here is a run-off unit from the olden days, but we are working on the mfg specs and getting all the parts lined up. It's definitely an option for those who do not want to go the turbo conversion route.

Pics will be added to the Original Post...

Sorry for the wait, we literally finished tuning the car at 11pm on Thursday night and had to leave for Phx for the Road Tour on Friday morning (at 6am)...so that didn't leave me much time to take pics and post everything. Just got back in town and getting caught up on all the chores. __________________

Chief, you did not do this! Really?! OMG, dude - you're my hero. I would totally've dared someone to do that, but I wouldn't think that anybody would actually do it. Awesomeness.

The M62 is going to be awesome & JIMINNI, I nominate you to go first. I'm gonna lay down some power with my bigger MAHLE/STaSIS turbo first.

He puts his pants on the same way we all do one leg at a time.... I think Jim was more upset with me when he left to get parts a short time latter and he was down the street

Saturday afternoons we tend to have a group at CMS however one can only eat so many donuts and that morning two different people had brought them in. I'm sure the FPD Officer felt that I was stereo typing him however I saw him as someone that I would share bread with just because it was a donut was besides the point. I really think he was upset because he wanted a filled one and Steve had just finished that one of and his second choice of a rainbow sprinkle covered one was not available either

Financing California's budget crisis one ticket at a time.. However I don't think many new officers were hired to enforce some of these new violations as I know that I still see lots of people talking on cell phones and I know that I get a little nervous when they come up behind me and don't seem to be slowing down. However with the I. D. 10 T. 's still wonder why the officers stop them after they have caused an accident after they were impaired either by being DUI or in an verbal fight with someone on the phone. Looking at the Autobahn they drive fast and very seldom do things like drink coffee talk on cell phones or stuff their faces, not to mention all the other things people do on the freeways around our great nation..

Welll the time has come to reg. my truck and Mini here in Colo. So today I took the truck down to the state smog inspection station, it is about 2 miles away so I took the truck out for a 20 mile warm up lap on the way there so the CAT and everything were totally up to temps. Waited in line for about 1/2 hour. Finnally they roll it on to the rollers. It passes the emissions test and then the do a visual and test the gas cap. I fail the gas cap. No big deal, they say go get a new one and come back for a free reinspection. Ok, new cap and more waiting in line. This time I pass the visual and FAIL the emissions part . they told me it is an old mechanics trick to use a bad gas cap so it will pass the emissions test. WTF Now I need to take it to a shop to find out the fix. They also told me that cars from California ussually all fail because of poor maintanence I thought Cal had the strictest smog check laws???? My truck last passed in Cal and I might have put on 2000 mi in the past 2 years. I had fresh gas and did a fresh oil change this morning.
After I get the truck issue solved I move on to the MINI
