Did y'all at least get some light-weight rotors to go with the nifty calipers?
Eddie got a Wilwood 13" front kit from somewhere and then got the TCE 11.75" rear rotor kit from me. They are about 2" larger in diameter than stock, but only weigh about a pound more per side. It fills up some of that empty space back there. No Wilwood calipers, though, since you pretty much get the Wilwood name on the side and minimal improvement in performance for ~$500 more. Now, if you completely ran out of things to buy or do with your MINI, then, maybe.
That 20% works out well when 5% smarter doesn't do it with wheels torqued to 300 nm. Even John pushes down instead of his normal pull up.
Steve
Looks like the 27th weekend I will have to do my final tasker in this command so I will be unavailable to apply the 20% then. I will keep you informed as it gets closer.

I don't think the motor will be here by then and there is nothing firm scheduled for that weekend.
Hay Joe thought would like a set of these to go with the new diffuser...$$$$$$$$$ must be big bucks.....
A Japanese company Weds Sport has manufactured the first full carbon fiber wheel. This carbon fiber wheel was manufactured using a Dry Carbon Fiber technique and was unveiled at this years Tokyo Auto Salon show.
The weight of one wheel is 2.76kg (6.08 lbs)!
Ohhhhh......I'm ***so*** in luvvvv right now!! Tina, where'd you find these?
No problem for Joe
"One wheel weighs in at just 2.76kg, which works out to be 6.08475844 pounds. Interested in getting a set of these for your car? Expect to pay around $10,000-$12,000 for the set. While it sounds expensive, you can easily spend $8,000+ on custom three-piece forged wheels from a company like HRE."
