A Big Thanks
First day I donno even where to start.
Everything was going well, until lunch where someone (they think it was a Cadet) droped a ziplock bag on the ground and a RTO found it before we got it picked up. Our 30 mins lunch turned into 10 mins of eating and 20 mins on our face. 2nd day is where things got crazy. For some reason the RTOs were very pissed off at me and about 8 other cadets and it seemed like everytime I would fall back into formation I would get called out again and be put on my face. The push ups don't really bug me and getting yelled at doesn't really bug me and the class work is cake. We had our first test today on LD2 and 5 that was very easy. Whats hard for me is all the BS paper work they have us do at night. Between that and keeping your boots and uniform nice I'm never going to get any sleep. Welcome to hell. I just need to keep reminding myself you're there because you want to be.

I was in my comfort zone then, and graduating meant I had to find a job!
I've also learned to keep my boots fresh, or wipe the dust off, and to keep that nice shine, try using a piece of nylon, like from a set of pantyhose. Use that after you've applied the shoe polish, and buffed it out with a t-shirt, towel, or cotton *****..... Then use the nylon strip. It works well.
How about asking Tron Chief how he keeps his boots nice and shiny. I'm sure he has a few tricks up his sleeve!

Drink more Coffee
Take each day one day at a time and when they have you in the spotlight by singling you out, make it worth their time as it is your opportunity to show them how good you really are. The paperwork is what most people are weak at and when it comes to your written reports that is what puts the con's behind the bars. You will have a point after this is over when your going to know it was all worth the effort, when that moment will be only you will know it but something will happen and you'll be saying to yourself "this is why I do this job"

Agreed. Chief, if I was building a R56 - you would've nailed it almost dead on. I'm modeling my new windshield tint band + radar detector setup after your car. Keep it coming mang!
JIMINNImachine, thanks for the ride home this afternoon. Good thing you have the MINI cuz' the race-prepped ZO6 is too much car for you.
