Today was fun. There were 5 cars and alot of great scenery. There were even a couple fun twisty spots!

I was going to go clubbing tonight, but for some reason, my bank deactivated my debit card and my credit card doesn;t work to get me cash from an ATM because they haven't sent me my pin yet. Just great! So, tonight ended on a bit of an anticlimax...

Drinking at Hooters, what else. Driving in this city sucks. The hotel is in an area of construction and there was a convention letting out and a lot of streets were closed. The official hotel was $237/night so we found another hotel nearby. We haven't stayed at the official hotel any other night, either. MINIUSA must be doing pretty well.

Operation dechrome MINI is under way. I put he cooper side vents in. I might go get some blackout tape for the chrome line today as well...

 

I haven't done anything with the MINI lately, I have been focusing on the ATV. Where are Brad and Steve driving up to? The DFIC does look really cool and Steve has it in interesting colors.

Blake, how is the weather up in Michigan? It has been really nice up here in Vacaville. How did your run go with the Michigan club?

 

The drive was a blast. I had problems going into canada again, but it was sorted eventualy... The weather was cool and nice. It was threatening to rain the entire day, but it didn;t untill I was driving home from detroit at 11...

I Did The Blackout Of The Beltline, <$6 For The Tape At Pepboys. It Came In A Wider Roll So I Cut Each Piece And Then Sliced It In Half. I Think I Have Enough For One More Mini. I Took About An Hour, And No One Has Noticed.

 

One of the members of my club has some extra, or i might just cough up the $20 and but 150 ft of it. I think it will look great. After that, I will replace the grill with the m7 or a aero kit...
