Not counting the one going on Steve's MINI, we have one black and gold DFIC to sell.
Along with other things of course.

THERE IS NO TIME FOR ANY EXTRACURICULAR RUNS. EVERYONE IS DRIVING OVER ON THEIR OWN AND DIFFERNT ROUTES. SOME ARE STAYING IN SALINAS, SOME IN MONTEREY OR CARMEL. WE ALL WILL MEET AT THE TRACK, SPEND THE DAY AND DO OUR EVENING THING, REPEAT ON SUNDAY AND EITHER GO HOME OR MEET AT THE BEACH FOR MTTS. WISH WE HAD TIME FOR ADDITIONAL TWISTIES. I MIGHT OPTION FOR G-16(CARMEL VALLEY ROAD) ON MY WAY IN IF TIME PERMITS, BUT DOUBTFUL. WILL ENJOY THE RUN DOWN HWY 1 SEE EVERYONE THERE

It's the ceramic coating; it has a gold color. Ken, do you really want the black one with the ceramic coating on the bottom and the black heat dissipating coating? MINICHEF, we'll have a channel tomorrow.

Brad, remember to bring your radios. I want to get a channel that you can broadcast with enough volume.

Isn't that what I said? You know that's the most expensive one. The black coating is not proven yet, but it sure looks cool. I still doubt it will make it across the States before someone buys it. They are really hard to get right now and I don't know when I can get another.

You can save it for me in return for my continued business and a gurantee to use you as my sponsor when brad's cousin (or brother?) gets off his *** and makes a mini shop decal for me...

You can't see the bottom after it's installed so it could be pink and nobody would know the difference. I plan on painting my "deflector thingy" black.

And could you do a "Custon mini shop" logo overlaid on the black paint on the deflector thingy?

Lol. I'm not planning on having you get anything ready for me before then. I know it's going to be hard enough for you to get yours ready before monterey... Speaking of which, how is that going?

The gaskets finally came in from East Bay. I don't know how the fix anything in a timely manner since they don't seem to stock anything. Or maybe they are just having a bad month. So the MINI comes apart tomorrow for the Cosworth head, Schrick cam, DFIC and OCC. I may have to do a quicky paint job on the hood scoop, though.
