Home at last! It was a good show and I actually got to talk to a few people this year. Now we have to catch up at home since it seems that we have gained MINIs at the shop and they didn't repair themselves.

Welcome back CMS! We're excited to hear all about the AMVIV trip & see pictures. Dr.Steve, are we making headway on our electrical drain/bad ground problem? Other than that & the Swi-X, I think we're just waiting for the gauge faces to come back from Lyle.

Fracky your car has a room mate. Just adding a couple of items and fixing a few more. Between us they should stay busy.

Well, I'm picking up my new CF Status racing seats this weekend & ordered a new Brey-Krause harness bar. I'm thinking of extending the Frackmobile stay so we can both contribute our retirement plans to CMS.

Since one seat is already out, there is no point in putting it back in until you get the new ones. Of course, you don't really need a passenger seat so you could just leave it out and save weight and money.

Too true. Can you say "Shop Display"? We could put all our display parts on his MINI and never worry about it leaving.

Glad to be home.

Brad,

You and Steve at the shop today? I'm just rolling out of bed since I don't have any MINIs to look at except the bug spattered one in the garage that I REALLY don't feel like washing.

p.s. Katie says hi.

I know what you mean about the BUG's....we got in about 5pm last night after over-nighting in Lone Pine. I think I have a Pepper White car under all the yellow/red/black bug guts + the dust/dirt from driving the dirt roads around the Badlands near Lone Pine....it's where they filmed most of the old Western movies of the 50's 'n 60's. Need to take another vacation day just to clean up the car....and "detox" too.!!

Were here. Don't want to wash mine either. Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would though.

Tell Katie hi back for me. Next time I won't pick on her as much.

South on 395 to SR178, we took SR155 from Lake Isabella to Delano. Well not exactly into Delano...cut off on Jack Ranch road and Old Stage road into Terra Bella, Exeter and Visalia before connecting to SR99. All were "fun" roads. Had been on SR155 4-5 times in the past, so tried something different this time. Had the road to myself most of the time...Whoo Hoo!!

Done that route before myself Quite fun. Parts of it are included in the "walking the streets of Bakersfield" run.
