A Big Thanks
. Alta is sending out some replacement heim joints, I hope they work
.
Willum do you have any ruff surfaces on that Webb sway-bar? If the bar or bushings aren't real smooth the lube may not be able to overcome the friction. Some people that run the H-Sport sand off the paint on the bar to prevent any grooves forming where the paint has worn away in spots.
Now that I have teflon heim joints I don't hear any more noise either.(he says with fingers crossed.)

And how about all that road noise from the tires rubbing on the pavement. Maybe we should lube those, too.

Some grooves had formed, so took 600grit wet/dry sandpaper and polished the bar and the inside of the bushings....the bar rotates nice 'n smooth, with no binding.....most of the noise started with the install (last year) of the Hsport springs and Koni yellows, so I'm wondering if something is a-miss there and the noise is amplified by the swaybar. With the bar disconnected, I can jack up/down the rear trailing arm and get a similar (creak) but not as loud, when the spring/shocks approach their normal position (as if the suspension/tires was sitting on the ground). Hard to troubleshoot with 1 person to look/listen/feel and move the suspension through it's full range of motion. Can't hear a mouse squeek from 100mi away.....but you sure can hear this.

Sway-bar end links????
I hear ya.....Oops, did I just roll over Steve
I even set the bar at it's lowest setting...no change. And I've also replaced the end links with the TSW....no change. Pretty much at the point of having the good Doctor look at it.....if he's OK after squashing his melon...

Steve
Yea right
I am down 2 sous chefs and my prospective candidates are slow in returning their decisions to the offers presented
Which means even more work for me
and to top it off my boss wants me to add another 5-8 items to the menu and reduce labor and food costs
Now if I could only get a day off to go out and try my new "tune" and releive some stress...
