I have that hat... but somehow I end up wearing my blue Cooper S hat more often... with a Works lapel pin badge on it too.

Blue car, blue hat...

But for the next DCMM gathering, I'll wear the Works hat, just for you chows.

DaCreama took me to the Tortilla Factory once for an impromptu DCMM meeting two years ago while I was in Reston for training. I need to figure out a way to sneak out there again . . .

I'm sorry, but would that be the black and shockingly red seats or the Op Art carpets? It's so bright in there, I'm sure you need shades!

Good news and bad news: No tearing necessary. The backseat lifts off its clamps with a couple of sharp tugs on the front corners. Then lift the front to disengage the tang at the rear. The seatbacks are secured by one 10mm bolt in the center. Remove it, then rotate the seatback to about the 2 o'clock position to free the cotter pinned shafts. Alas, no build sheet in evidence. The resulting cavity, however, perfectly accomodates a set of track wheels and tires!

I hate the fact that the JCW caused me to dump a limited edition single production year car and what some say is the "best GTI ever made" in favor of this little rocket ship....

Damn...I cant wait to take delivery...
