I hate my 2006 JCW MCS because:

1.It's just as fast as my Porsche 911SC but way easier to drive(I'm just sick over this one).
2.I have to make deals with my wife to get extra driving time.
3.I can only accelerate fully for 5.72 seconds before exceeding the speed limit.

Blech-the car is ruining my life

I hate that my JCW MINI is being loaded aboard the boat Wednesday and will arrive in the middle of Winter, forcing me to fit her out with Blizzaks instead of the JCW 18s I will store in the garage until April.

Mainly I hate reading this thread and watching my mouth drop to the keyboard.....

okay so this might be a stupid question... But if you order the "Works" package (from new with a car you order), are they doing it at your dealer, after the car comes in, or is at the factory where they do it?

There are no stupid questions . . . only stupid people.

JCW is now in house at Oxford. All JCW mods are done at the factory. Yay!

Has anyone tried the new JCW brakes out? I have been thinking of upgrading the brake system after I add a pulley.

I absolutely hate mine...
No more fade 10 minutes into a track session,
Deeper brake zones,
nicer progressive pedal feel...

What he said. I hate the bigger discs up front and especially the new brake pad compound for front and back. I've lost only .03" of pad material in 10K miles of ahem spirited driving. Yep, those guys at JCW have screwed up again!

What I really hate about my JCW is that it can run down a new 4WD Porsche Carrera at the track despite the Porsche guy's instructor yelling, "You can take him! You can take him! It's only a MINI!". I hated the look on his face when he finally gave up and pointed me by, and I really hated it when he came up to me in the paddock and said, "What the hell have you got in that thing?" I don't think he believed me when I answered, "Nothing. That's the way it comes from the factory."

For anyone like you, I would either order from an out of state dealer or if you are desperate for a car I know that Cincinnati MINI has a new 2005 JCW car with every frickin option possible that they are desperate to get rid of

Yepper, $1.00 each frame till I can get the boys in the lab to cocure a couple of test specimins for me. When the prepreg goes out of date, it's fair game.
