I hate the fact that as much as I want to, I can't make it through a tank of gas to see what kind of good milage I can get. It's just too much fun to stomp on it!

I REALLY hate the fact that when you are driving a long, empty, narrow road, trees outside, gas floored, supercharger screeming louder, louder more high pitched....out of the corner of you eye you barely see the needle swing past 90 mph, 4th then 5th gear....ooh I hate that feeling...

I hate the fact that when you finally get the open road and the nerve to "see what its got" you run it up tp 135mph in fifth gear and know it still has more but have to let off beacuse the traffic ahead is aproaching at an alarming rate

But you know given another few seconds you could have reached the computer shutdown barely into sixth gear

Oh I'm with you Guys I hate very second when you get in the car.... drive a couple of miles slowly whilst it warms up and then stomp on the accelerator once she is warm.... and the sound of that second flap opening on the airbox as she screams above 4,500 rpm... ugly just ugly

I've got a JCW and I can tell all of those that don't have one, to not worry about it too much, unless you drive your car hard. Hard driving is where the JCW helps. Otherwise it isn't worth it.

I love my JCW, but the difference is only obvious when you're on the hammer.

I hate the fact that we just drove from Houston to Orlando, average speed computed as 78 (including a great deal of traffic crawling at less then 10 MPH)...oh yeah and the grin on my wife's face when she would stomp on it while entering the highway or passing.... Oh yeah and I hate I got so tired I had to let my wife drive!

I hate hearing the burble of exhaust with the top down not being able to fly by the 4500 rpm limit on engine break-in. OH, did I tell you about the JCW package 300 miles and rolling on......quickly......

Is top speed limited on the JCW Mini's? U.S. spec
Are the two Works badges the only ones you get? Are different styles available for say, the front fenders?

Motor ON!!

Yes the two exterior badges are it I've seen some for sale but on ebay im not a big fan of ebay so I passed on them. I would have prefered to have them under the side marker light on each side also

The speed is computer limited to 140-142 mph, im sure the car will do it as stated above I was ever so close

Yup, same problem I have. Now to get the JCW brakes to make that slow down even shorter!

I hate that I have to actually use the Brembos to slow myself on freeway on-ramps... oh wait... someone said that.

Ok, I hate that we don't have an Autobahn.... oh wait... someone said that too.

I hate that I came too late to this thread to add anything meaningful.

Ok, here's one.... I have that driving a 2004 BMW M5 with over 400HP the other day, really didn't do it for me compared to the little box of darty go-go we own called a "mini".

I hate the way the JCW kit sucks you into the JCW world. Now that I have the tuning kit, I so desparately want the 18" wheels, suspension, brakes and soon to be released strut brace.

I also hate spinning the tires all the way through 1st, spining them partially in 2nd and still being able to chirp them in third.

I hate the effect it has on my tires.
