I hate the fact that I have 273 miles left on break-in.

I like the fact that I can still hit 100 while remaining under the breakin limit.

It's Back

I hate the fact that I get my car back Friday after all it's repairs, and mods. I hate the fact that I have just over 1100 miles of break in left. I really hate the fact that it is going to be 85 degrees and sunny ....

I hate that fact that everyone can't have the wonderful feeling of driving a JCW car and the smile that comes with the driving pleasure!!!!

One thing that I really hate (for real) about JCW is when you get some clowns saying that JCW isn't worth it and how it's a ripoff blah blah blah (minus the guy who posted in this thread).

I'd rather have John Coopers name on my car, than some Pedro and Sons Garages, or something like that.

But I dont have JCW, well only the exhaust, so I can pretend I have the full kit right? Actually my car is mixed, like me. It has JCW, Alta, Webb, best of all things good. BOOOOYAH.

I the way the LSD pulls me around corners that I used to skate through on the brink of oversteer.

I hated listening to the giggles of the Spec Miata Racer on her first MINI tour of Thunderhill. And her terminal WOW! really ticked me off, too.

I hate the way people buy JCWs because they are worried about their warranty, when John Cooper was "the original" Mini tuner...he's gotta be rolling over in his grave...

(I'm not saying it's wrong of anyone to do so, I would love to have one. I am just saying it seems at odds with what John Cooper did to original Minis...he'd be bold, he'd be brash, he'd be going for 300+ hp...)

I hate the way the new strut tower brace looks in the engine compartment, and especially hate the way it snugs neatly along the grooves on the JCW CAI, almost like someone designed all the bits and pieces to work together.

I also hate the fact that my car will have a performance brake kit, suspension kit, strut brace, and 210bhp, and still retain the warranty!

MAN, I hate that too! Having the same company design all the bits for the car is really annoying

I smoked the tires as I left the dealership, so I'd say break in period is a little less than 1/10 of a mile

My engine runs strong and pulls hard at 49K miles. . .

(MINI recommends you take it easy and keep below 4500 rpm for 1200 miles)

I hate that I can't tell anybody what kind of gas mileage I get because I shift at 6000 rpm because the car just likes it.

Great thread MMC# 298
