Ice Recall

Just received word that my 2015 Countryman was one of the cars stuck in the ice at Halifax Autoport this winter, and thus, is being recalled. There is apparently a 4 point inspection that needs to be done to ensure there are no ill effects from being iced in. As much as I hate the fact that my car was affected, Mini seems to be handling it professionally.

Does anyone know what exactly they are checking in their inspection? Or has anyone experienced any issues related to being iced in?

If anyone else has a car with a manufacture date of 01/2015, you may be getting a call too.

Yep, I got the call 3 days ago. It stresses me out a bit, especially when you hear so many complaints on this forum with regards to differing dealership mechanics strengths and weaknesses. No specific information other than an initial assessment lasting up to 3 hours in length. I just picked up my new Mini June 1st so it's a bit disheartening. Though it's not as if they had control of the weather. To date I have always been treated with respect and professionalism. I just wish this wasn't an additional worry to add to the list.
