That is enough to make me move south, as far as possible. I’m not a cold weather fan at all.
BSH lower mount came in yesterday so looks like a lunch time install. Then prep for weekend trip down to sevierville, looks like there might be a couple of days where I can squeeze in some dragon time, get my last few runs in before the snow really hits us and the mini gets parked.
Nice! Get ready for some vibration lol. I've found that the bushing on that needs to be replaced every so often. I'm doing mine annually now, but it lasted years before I noticed it soften up.
Nice, new, scratch-free rear sill cover panel. Now need to find some decent used (but near mint) rear lateral trim panels to finish off the interior plastic restore. Oh, also found a headliner donor!

Good choice!
Vibrations worth every penny. I thought at first i did something wrong when i first started it up. So i rejacked it up, check torque on the bolts , nothing hitting, so drop it took if for a spin. Exhaust isnt hitting the cross brace anymore, it vibrates but tolerable, wife wont like it, and shifting is a bit smoother as well. My stock was starting to go, there is a crack running all the way from one side to the other and was just a matter of time before it was totally gone.

For me it was one of those things that I absolutely love! With the window weld filled upper mounts, my car shakes like a stripper and I LOVE IT !
I didn't do this today, but I had the JCW tuning kit installed on my 2017 F56. Man... I loved this car before, but I just am obsessed with it now. The sound that the exhaust makes is addicting. I'm new to Mini's and German cars in general, but I absolutely love driving this car.
I went to college in Troy, the blizzard of 1978 was epic. I was in the 2nd row for an Emerson, Lake, and Palmer concert, came out of the show and it was like 2 feet deep.

How’s your hearing? That must have been a epic concert.
I missed that storm; living in Idaho at the time. I moved to that area shortly after that, which is where I am now.
Driving the Dragon. No one out here. Cool down 2nd up/down
Seriously just lap after lap. Cool down 10 min at store then another lap. Thank you Mother Nature and God for today. Over 100 miles on the dragon and only have seen 1 other mine, an r53 looking to get back to Virginia. I think I may just keep running till 3 pm est and call her a day. Time for me to make another lap.

Spent the day with my daughter, some dragon time, then the 270 degree overlook in Joyce Kilmer National Forest, and a few more laps on the Dragon. Had a great day with the daughter and the mini. Was more about our time than it was the mini, but the mini ran flawlessly.
Your R55 looks great and always inspiring to see these being properly driven! Photo also reminds me it's been too many years since romping the Dragon... looking forward to getting back down there in either my R55 or NA MX5!

Thank you sir, she definitely is driven the way she should. I will be there for MOTD for sure in 2021, hopefully we see you out there.
On a side note took the wife out shopping today and she didn’t even notice I swapped out the lower engine mount, another win there.
Since it was 50 today and Santa dropped it off, I installed a catless downpipe. Not really any louder, didn’t break anything, took about 3 hours taking my sweet *** time. No name from alibaba.com 85 shipped fit perfect.
The Clubman exhaust sounds great with just a catless down pipe
I for sure thought this would be the one the wife hates, nope not too much louder at all. I honestly think the lower mount made the car louder than this. Damn clubby s is such a sleeper.
