Yes! I've delayed it about all I can... The one thing I am missing which I am debating about will be the transmission mount.
If I've read correctly, I will have to remove some pieces (e.g. ECU?) to reach the thermostat/housing area in order to replace everything. While I am there, I believe the transmission mount will be exposed/accessible. Its been a while since I've taken a look at that and I think I might replace it while I am in there area.
Yes, If you want to have room. Then you have the access to that upper mounts.
Yes, not sure what to think as this is only the middle of February. 82-deg currently. Should still be a little chilly...
Weather channel predicts 89-deg by Wednesday, 86-deg by next weekend and then settles in around 83-84 after...
I remember days like those down there. Enjoy it!! It's 4.3F here and dropping like a rock with a mighty breeze. I had to put gloves on to go out into the garage and check on the Mini. It wishes we were driving top down up the Beeline toward Payson, or out 93 to Wickenburg and then 89 to 89A to Jerome. Some of my many favorite drives out that way!

Wow! Fair enough! Yes, those are all awesome road trips! Put the top down and just go! You remember it well!
I was beautiful day in the neighborhood. Cleaned up and cut the back lawn, Gave Lulu a bath and the wife I took off to the foothill east of her to pick up our Wine Club selections ( 2 wine clubs) stock up on our favorites, do a little tasting had a from scratch Pizza and a bottle of wine and head home for the NASCAR Race, Temps in the Mid 70's Moonroof open, windows down and in sport mode. Great day. After almost 50 years we can still have fun and enjoy each other company. Moding Lulu is off the table for now. Got 02 Toyota Tacoma double cab back from my son after a year so Have been doing maintenance, repairs and cleaning it up and kind of restoring. He did tear it up but it was used as his work truck so it go dirty. Spent most of this week Clay Baring, Polishing and waxing, Started Plastic Dipping the front valance and the wheel opening moldings. Have Polyurethane Bushing for the rack and pinion steering rack, sway bar and rear spring bushing. The truck has 152k so it need a few thing Shocks will be coming. Engine bay has been cleaned and detailed, new tires and wheels, radiator. Interior will be done next week as it will be warm and the carpet and seat will dry after they are steamed cleaned. When I get the truck done the we will see about Lulu again she is getting close to suspension I assume 44k on her now so I imagine after 50 K will need some thing. Found out I still can and enjoy working on my cars just takes more planning and more time than 40 years ago.
Guess I was pretty lazy with the Mini all weekend, too. It got down to -15.3 degrees F (that's air temperature, not wind chill) overnight and it's warmed up to zero (0.0F) at the moment in beautiful sunshine, but I'm not going to wash the Mini, or change the oil, or even check the tire inflation today. The roadster is in the garage, waiting for a Spring day and I'm in the family room with a cup of hot coffee looking out at the snow on the ground.
This is what cold sunshine looks like at zero degrees (no touch ups, just what the phone took)...
Blue sky by Arctic air! Coldest day here at this house since 1997. We moved here in the Winter of 1995. Forecast has rain here on Tuesday. Still a crazy Winter. The foot prints along the front of the house are from deer.

Thanks for the compliments! It was the sky that I thought was so incredible today and wanted to contrast with something. We only warmed to 4.5F above zero. Just slipped back below zero... -0.2F
Spent the weekend mounting my Rigid Industries SR 20" light bar on my new to me R60. Had to take the bumper on and off about a billion times test fitting and mounting this PITA.... SO happy with the result though.
Sits super flush, and ready to light up the night.

Looks sweet Any concerns for the road debris breaking it? I am toying with the same idea, but afraid that rocks/other crap will smash it in no time

In Colorado I remember we would have a 1-2 week span of negative degree weather where if you put your hand a few inches from the wall you could feel the cold radiate off from it. I heard it's been much milder this year, but happy I got to skip winter this year. Stay warm!
