Everytime I tell myself, "Yeah I'm probably done for a while". There always seems to be something I need to do or change. Maintenance or Modifications it doesn't matter, there is always something.

Did you upgrade those headlights before you tinted them? Or are you still running standard Halogens?

crossed a MINI milestone er...kilometerstone. Couldn't stop right at 200K due to traffic on the highway.

10 years and counting. Thanks for coming along for the ride.

How about some words of advice as how to get to 200k? My 2008 is getting ready to flip 100k. It's had a few issues but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Appreciate the advice......

Thanks....,
Yes; very base nice unit from N2MINI covered in red and added two CF "winglets" along with Rhino lip and aluminum rods.
I just painted the headlights with tin spray.
Wanted a original look without breaking the bank.

Keep the car clean inside and out, including the bonnet (engine bay).
You can drive fast and even hard, but do it as smoothly as possible.
Keep a good maintenance schedule. Fix or replace anything that runs amiss as soon as possible.
...and drive your car - motor on! MINIs do not like sitting around.

Not today, but over the last couple of weekends replaced the pads (EBC Red) & rotors (Centric) and added a couple of gauges (Depo-Racing - water temp & voltmeter).

I stalked the two ships that my MINI might end up on.

This is the Ivory Arrow being loaded at Southampton and departing for Baltimore today (Sept 4). My car just completed production yesterday, so I'm not sure if it will have had time to be put on this ship.

This is the Endurance, which is currently in Belgium. It departs Belgium tomorrow for Southampton and departs Southampton for Baltimore on Sunday, Sept 6. If my MINI isn't on the Ivory Arrow, it'll almost certainly be on this one.
