There is a rubber grommet hiding a bolt on the the inside of the hood. Take that out and it will pop right off.

pretty sure it's the same transmission, or at least the same fluid requirements, yes.

Decided to have a look at my intake valves for the first time in 58,000 miles. Didn't find much but went ahead and sprayed them and hit them with some brushes. Pretty much felt like a waste of time.

Ready for a wash. Also about to get tires. Probably getting out of Nebraska to Waco or South Carolina and don't want a new set of flun-rats! My right front RF is bald as can be and other front tire is well worn. Back tires are OK, but I'm not supposed to put half run flats and half something else, right??

What should I put on for those parts of the country. Winter tires won't be an issues any longer...It's a long drive to both places with those whiney RF's. They're gone before we move...Who is a great mechanic in Waco or Columbia SC? I'll know more soon after the job offers come in. Who knows, maybe I'll be stuck here more....

MCS '05 80K miles, runs great, xenon front head lights, "Blue Meanie" side window decals and rear window "Back Off! I'm Grumpy with the dwarf guy" on the back window. (it seems to be working you people who hate tailgators)!! LOL!

Got a halfway alignment, they couldn't do rear toe or front camber. Also started playing around with different tire pressures to see what's best suited for DD with a little spirited cornering. Right now sitting at 40psi front and 38psi rear due to the soft sidewall of the Continental DW's. Seems to feel decent so far

I go to Firestone since my ex-brother-in-law is the service manager he got me the employee pricing for the lifetime alignment service (normally like $189 I think, I paid $99). But they aren't allowed to mess with the bolts to adjust rear toe without the special tool. They don't have the tool but I'm thinking about buying it from one of the vendors here for about $60 and then bringing it with me every time I get an alignment. I also need to widen my front shock tower holes in order to access the camber plates fully. Will be doing that with the help of a friend in a couple weeks.

Finally got to start reassembling the interior in the wake of an Integral Audio install. I don't care how great it may sound, I'll never do that again!
