I got it from a friend of mine about 5 years ago...have had on various whips....
I thought it would be apropos to put on my Mini
Believe or not I have had some funny conversations with people who thought it was a real hybrid
Took a drive in freezing rain with snow coming. Ugh! A little slippery, but the MCS held tight to the road. I HATE freezing rain. I'd rather have snow! I'm not ready for this yet! Yesterday was 65 and sunny. That's Nebraska for ya. The Xenon lights are way cool. Otherwise, she's stock '05.
Swapped to a 6 toggle switch bar, installed euro shelf, put in boot tray and net, glove box organizer shelf, pillar cup holder, and replaced OEM shift ****
Got my 2014 clubman S last Tuesday and switched out the shift **** with a BMW performance ****... (crappy) pics below... share me your thoughts!
Awesome, it looks clean! Did you just pull out the **** or both ****+shift boot to change it out? One time I tried to do this in my former
MCS, and the **** came out but the shift boot was still stuck. I couldn't see how you get the **** separate from the boot without it ripping or
damage so I ended up just putting the original back on.

I just pulled the **** and the boot stayed in place, no problems what so ever
Winter tires for me too. Had a bolt stuck in my runflat so was time to get winters anyway - good timing because supposed to snow this weekend here in NJ
Ordered a Seat Delete kit and a spare R98 rim to have a full size spare since I ditched the run flats. Didn't add a TPM sensor to the spare, but it will look better than a donut when I need it.

I must have bad luck because when I pulled on the ****, which was quite easy, the boot (once again) was stuck to it! That black plastic ring at the top of the boot had an insane hold on the ****.
However, with a little research and much persistence, I discovered a different method to separate the **** from the boot and finally did it!! I replaced with the JCW CF ****. It feels very different from the standard ****. I'll decide in the next couple weeks if I like it or not. I kind of already miss the fat grip on the standard one, tbh. But after all that work, I need to at least try it. lol
