Dealer installed new wiper blades, upper grill trim, dme cover, and oil change. It is weird how the shifter feels much better after every single dealer service.

Got my radiator and new cooling fan assy installed and buttoned the front end back up.

Still mulling over buying an ATI dampener and going through the belt drive system, but I had to buy a new bedroom set

Fuel Filter and Compression Test

Replaced a very black fuel filter with 173k of use. No problems, but I really don't like digging around in the gas tank.

Tried out my new compression gauge and got what I think are reasonably good numbers; all things considered. Results posted in 1st gen/stock problems - issues.

Drove to St. Andrew the Apostle for Latin Mass. Mine was the only Roadster (or MINI) in the parking lot, of course.

Went to get fast food with the kids and the kid in the drive thru asks if my car is the new R35. I replied, "No, actually it's the last of the R56."
I got a confused "Oh okay." response back. lol

1) I hit 600 miles on the odometer on the way home from work. Woot! I'm halfway to break-in! Another week should do it!!

2) I removed the paper panel filter and exchanged with an aFe high-flow dry panel filter.
Throttle response seems better after the change!

had mine into the dealer for a second time, this one for just an oil change/tire rotation... oddly enough, it turned into just an oil change (and a bit of a fight, as I was told that they don't recommend oil changes until 10-15k intervals, and I just looked at my SA like he was speaking Martian)... so after insisting on an oil change after 6500 miles, they proceeded to swap "tire rotation" for "sales pitch to sell my MCS back for pennies and drive off in a new model"... now, I had specified the tire rotation in my call to make the appointment, and in person several times... so I'm a little...

but, having to work this afternoon, I didn't have the desire/will to ask for an explanation or inform them that they might have lost some business... so tell me, is this normal service behavior??

I'm a little confused. Were you looking for a free oil change at 6500? Ya, they won't do that. I puss out on changing my own for the mess and disposal and I have the dealer do it and I pay for it until my "mileage" comes up for my maintenance warranty freebie.

-Installed the JCW intake, rear window tint and rear grocery bag holder the day before yesterday.

-Adjusted my washer jets, changed the microfilter, installed a new rear wiper and some decals yesterday

-Had the OBC and rear fog activated, the MT fluid changed with redline and a new belt installed today as well as the remainder of the undercoating sprayed on.

Yup.....aside from the MFSW I am pretty well on my way to making it my own!!!

Ordered new struts for my car's rear hatch. We had our first cold weather snap over the weekend and I dropped the boot lid on my head. Funny how the supports worked earlier in the day (when it was warmer) but completely and utterly failed when the cold snap hit later in the evening.

Picked up my license plates from the dealer today and installed a "no holes" front holder along with carbon fiber frames. Nice!

Yesterday, after the "unveiling" I went into my garage and hugged my car.

Installed CNT Exhaust

Love the new look:

Sounds great, Deeper throatier sound, but not loud at all. Best thing I enjoy is the new Pop & Burble tone. Way better than stock exhaust

As for power: Definitely more kick, especially in the Mid Range.

Overall consensus: Well worth the money if you are looking for something different than stock and don't want to kill your budget
