Putting the braided stainless steel hoses on the BSH OCC. One side down, one to go!

Go big or go home.

So I started yesterday and finished about an hour ago - took a bunch of breaks and had a few runs to napa.
I changed my SC oil (PTO side was bone dry but no damage to the gears yet - very lucky), replaced water pump, Detroit tuned BP Valve, thermostat, complete coolant flush, replaced the radiator hoses, replaced serpentine belt, recharged my k&n filter, degreased engine bay, and then gave her a bath after an awesome run with my like new 03.
Honestly I bet I WAS down 10 hp because this thing flys now. So glad I did this project! Ideled smoother, Ran cool and had much better pedal response. Now I'm ready for some spring meets.

Pic take some time last night. U can see the sc on the tool box on the left.

Whadya buy sek? Got some pics?

I cleaned mine up today with a bottle of detailer and a couple towels. Gotta do that a little more instead of a full blown wash.

Ready to rally tomorrow!

Hey Albie!!!!

I haven't gotten them yet but I'm going for a replica of the JCW R112's in black. If I can get the real thing, all the better. But I don't see it happening.

I can't make the rally tomorrow. Have a great time though!

Took the week-old MINI to the car wash for the first time, then enjoyed the 42 degree VT sunshine and drove around with the windows down and sunroof open. Bought my first shop vac so I can keep the grime out of the nooks n' crannies, and cleaned a week's worth of VT Mud Season out of the winter rubber mats.

Gotta love a Sunny Mud Season Saturday!

Black Challenge wheels are the best OEM MINI wheel they've put out, IMO. Hope you can find them!

Wish you could make it, tomorrow - looks to be a nice day to MOTOR!

Yeah I hope I can find them too. But if not, there's always the replicas which will save me a boatload of $$ anyway. Sundays never work for me because I teach yoga in the mornings. Please keep MTTP on Saturdays!

I installed the WMW Diverter valve and the NM torque arm insert yesterday. Both well worth it for the money with actual noticeable difference in pickup and confidence in the car.

The diverter valve gives you the power much quicker than stock and the torque arm has given the car smoother yet more aggressive shifts. It's crisper basically. I hated the slop feel of shifts before the inserts. Seriously satisfied. Happy I don't have any vibrations in the cabin at all too.

This car just gets more and more enjoyable to drive everyday

Yup. I'm hesitant to PD the wheels so I'm going to look into getting them painted professionally. We'll see though 'cause I'm on a tight budget.
