Just wondering, I asked Pat at Ferman Mini in Tampa about lowering springs, he said all I would need to put on were the springs and that there should not be any problem with adjusting the camber when realigning. does anyoe have any advice on this
The rear camber arms on the Gen. 2's are not adjustable. If you lower one you'll increase the negative rear camber!

Bathed, polished and vacuumed her in preparation for my first ever MINI run with some Mid-Maryland MINI enthusiasts next Sunday! cant wait!!

Going to motor on some twisties from Frederick to Thurmont for lunch at The Cozy Inn, then to the orchards to pick cherries, then get our favorite pies and motor to Catoctin (near Camp David) State Park to eat them!

Wow that is unbelievably clean Mike. The crazy thing is, it's probably 10 times better looking in person!

Great job!

What did I do to my MINI today?

Well I drove it up to the summit of Mount Washington with about 250 other MINIs.

(OK, that was yesterday, but I'm just getting back to net access today.)

MINIs on Top was a huge success.

I gave her a bath, heard my 5 year old little girl say "go fast again Daddy" and made someone in a Saturn Ion wish he bought a little more horsepower. The Saturn looked quick.......

Not to my MINI, but involving my MINI detailing supplies.

I knocked my Black-wow off the fridge and the bottle top broke off, dumping BW all over the kitchen floor. Tried everything to clean it up (Even pre-wow) and I can still skid across the floor with my bare feet.

This stuff really soaks in to tile. No wonder it works so well on my trim.

I have a 328i with m package waiting for pick up. I will be taking over my wife's 09 118i (40+ mpg) as my daily driver and she is getting the new one. The Mini has been an absolute blast but it is too hard to drive slow and when you have no speed limit you also have no fuel efficiency with a Cooper S. If I set my cruse control on the Mini at 62 mph I could average 36-38mpg. With the 118i at 90mph I can get 40mpg. I spend enough time on the road as it is (50 miles 1 way commute) so it only makes sense. Also the BMW is a much smoother ride even with the added BMW performance suspension.

installed a scangauge... i had a boost gauge and when i realized what goes into installing one i figured i i should go with the scangauge... and it tells me engine temp as well which im always concerned about in texas! easy set up because all the info here on name... here are a few pictures... im debating if i like the mount... what do you guys think...

btw when im driving my air to fuel is normal around 14.7 but when i brake it shoots up to like 20 something then drops to like 13 then goes back to 14.5- 14.8... does that always happen? i dont know much about AFR

As long as the Velcro adhesive doesn't give up from heat you should be OK. I initially had mine mounted to the right and the first time the dash got hot it fell off! The swings you see in AFR are normal. When it's showing 14.7 you're getting the max out of every drop of gas.

The kids got me the M7 CF shift **** for father's day. So I put it on and decided to clean the car. I bought some scratch remover, polish and wax. Amazing how much it can transform the paint.

What brand did you get? I've been using ArmorAll Polish. It makes the finish fairly shiny, but I can still see the swirlies

Pinstripe? Are you talking about the trim around the seat? Or is this something different. I'm gonna have to check out your pics, the stripes sound nice! I have the leasther seats with the polar white trim. I love em!
Josh sent me a sneak peak at one of the other things he did with Ms Maggie, I'm SO EXCITED!

Yes, I have the lounge leather seats with white trim. Never thought I would like the leather, but now I LOVE!! My bonnet stripes are black with white pinstripe on each side, so it looks very nice with my interior. Post pics of your MINI after!!
