Yes it has the sun roof. It blocks it out but thats what we were going for. Keeps the sun out. It works better than the ZippyShade for keeping the heat out of the car. It was 104 over the weekend and you can put your hand on it and NOT burn the cr@p out of yourself.

Someone is going to get a great deal on a Mini though. I am only asking $17500 as it is. If I can't find a buyer I will pull most of the mods and trade it in.
It has been a great car and I will miss it but it is time.
Ah well...you will be missed. Hopefully you'll check in once in awhile. I can't believe you're letting it go for so cheap. I know it'll be a PITA but I'd part out your car if you have the time to sell them. If shipping wasn't that bad, I'd definitely be interested in your JCW aero kit.

Installed Helix Intercooler along with NM turbo charge and discharge tubes. The quality of the Helix is so much more than OEM intercooler, which feels like a tin can compared to the Helix. Now together with the NM induction, I dyno'd out at 201 HP, all for less than $2K. It's also quieter during normal driving, but you definitely hear the new air system when you step into it.

took it to 1A north of Hampton for a sunrise at 5:04 am, and the usual "no brakes" run up the twisties...

taking the brakes out of the equation keeps the speeds down, and the road fun and still a challenge...

(it was foggy -- oh well)

Got my window shade today. The height of that shade is enough to cover all the way from top to bottom. Its a little long, but its ok cause I its soft enough that it folds at the ends and bottom corner so that it covers the entire windshield.

I gotta find another place to put my iPass unit though. Looks ugly on the windshield with or without the sunshade on.

I gave it a nice fresh application of Aquapel and installed some silver plastic caps to cover the holes in the door panels following this thread:

Cursed at it because the interior vent fan started vibrating like crazy. It is so loud and practically vibrates the whole dash!

Then praised it for playing nicely with another MINI we met on the I-15 Expressway. =]

Nah...wasn't me. I've never been to the Superdawg, though I know of it. I haven't seen a red roof JCW yet besides mine. And I've actually only seen 2 factory JCWs in the past 3yrs. I did see an MCS convertible with JCW tuning kit last month thouhg.

I added the Scangauge II to my instrument ensamble. It worked out very well locating it beneath the switch bank. I love my Marshall set-up more and more every day!

I'm not sure if this is a Dorky cheapskate modification or not, so I'll just post here.

I got the urge to paint some interior parts after repainting my tow hook & Plate frame.

I just painted a few parts; Toggle hoops, cup holder rings & shift boot ring.

I would have probably done more, but I ran out of paint.

I like the Krylon Fusion paint because it's cheap, easy to find & matches the Liquid Yellow quite well. I think the color is called Buttercream.

I just sand a bit, prime with white Krylon Fusion, a couple of Yellow coats & a couple clear coats. I'm resisting the urge to buy more...I don't want to over do it.
