Nice I did the same sort of thing. Drove from Huntsville to Idaho.

Also, welcome fellow alabamian, I grew up in Birmingham.

I just got done changing her oil for the first time. Was actually pretty easy after I read all of the horror stories on here...... Reset service ododmeter and everything with the help of this great forum.

My only question is how long does everyone go before changing their oil? I used synthetic etc. I was just wondering?

Everyone varies between 2500 (for the extremely ****) up to 15000, like recommended. I personally buy a respectable brand of oil and change it every 7500.

All units are miles.

Adding Mud Flaps

I added front mud flaps to my wife's 07 cabrio s. Going to add to my daughter's justa cabrio this week. Is there such a thing as rear flaps? My r56 has them all the way around and they do really help with chips and dirt.

Thanks for the replies concerning mud flaps. Got the fronts from outmotoring, but found no rears for the r52, but I will call Aaron to be sure. Also, chips meaning rock chips. Not so much on back, but definetly on the front.

Tonight, it's my weekly time for a wash + wax. Cant wait.

Coming soon: My H&R springs + M7 lip. I wish I was capable of buying these guys sooner than a couple months.

Today, A small lady with her crap Elantra backed into my baby at the gas station. I got out and saw the small dent on my front bumper and she told me she couldn't see anything. I got her number and plate number...cuz it's Fourth of July weekend, I am not gonna work on it but in your experience, how much would that paint/repair job cost? It's a very minor dent but it's visible and it's painful. I almost went mental if she didn't cut her finger earlier today.

If the paint isn't messed up take it to a paintlesss dent removal place. It may cost ~$120
