Went out for a drive and decided to stop at NM. I managed to pick up springs and torque arm insert.

Put on Alta's new hard turbo intake tube. Fitment was fine, but getting the coupler onto the MAF/DoS CAI was a bit of a hassle. Turbo seems to spool faster, but the power gains are negligible. Only reason I tried it was to see if it will stay attached to the turbo. 3 others (MCS, silicone, JCW hard pipe) all fell off after awhile. Many miles will tell.

did an oil change with 23430 miles on the ODO... also adjusted the NM torque arm insert, which was not seated properly... pretty much had to take off the arm and switch the inserts

Had some fun on my commute home, and drove with the sport button engaged on my Justa (Yea, I know I'm a dweeb, but cut me some slack, this is my first MINI). My commute is amazing, with its twisty, country roads....OMG....sooooooo much fun. May never drive without it on, again..

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I didn't think I could love my MINI more..

2010 HzB Clubgirl, fairly loaded and much loved...even more now

(Keep in mind I'm nearly 58, with 4 3/4 Grandkids and owned my previous 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 10 yrs, so now am FINALLY having fun!)

Sport Mode is Super Fun Giggles!! Be careful though it will drop your MPGs, if that's not a concern then "put the Hammer down" and GO FOR IT!!

Had the Sport Button on tonight, but Molly did something she had never done before...Revs were way up there and I could not figure out how to get her to down shift, had to take her out of Sport Mode and slow way way down??!! Don't know what's going on I'll test it again when I get a chance. Could it be that I was having a little to much FUN??!!

I am curious to see how much using it effects my MPG's. Going to use it tomorrow on my first MINI rally run through the twisties to the mountains. 42 MINI's will be in attendance, so I'm really looking forward to it! My OBC says I'm getting 38.3mpg.

I must be a much more aggressive driver, the highest I've ever seen was 37 and that was REALLY trying on the highway

My last fill-up was on the Maine border on my way home from MOT. Highway mileage almost the whole tank, 75 mph almost the whole way, 515 miles until empty and 36.8 mpg. My buddy in an S had virtually identical mileage.

Took Smacky out of the garage and left him outside to bake under the sun. Its been a week since I had him tinted. The tint has cured very little, no thanks to the stormy weather we've been having for a week now

Just took him out to pick up some pizza tonight. As I got in to come back home, a guy stopped for the light rolls down the window and says, "That is an awesome MINI".

I couldn't agree more.

Stopped at the Spam Museum

Today was another moving day for me. On the way to my old place I drove by a brown Clubman. We exchanged waves and took the same exit down the road. As we pulled up to a stop light, we rolled down our windows and he told me I had the best looking clubman he's seen so far. I said thanks and told him to check out a few different sources to make his look nicer .

I came upon another Clubman S later which had chrome everything (grill, mirrors, etc.) We rolled down our windows at a stop light and exchanged compliments. I then smoked him going up the hill.

On my way to my new place, with a car full of stuff, a 1st gen JCW convertible comes flying up on me at a stop light. We exchange waves and he motioned "lets go". I smoked that Mini as well even with a car filled with luggage and tools.

Today, I made a custom camera mount for Grace. It sits along the headrest, was made from a clothes hanger, and works phenomenally. Here's a video of it in action with my crappy G1's camera. It took some readjusting, but after I had it set, it worked fantastically.

Tomorrow, I get to wash and wax Grace. I'm really excited to get some fresh carnauba wax on her, and toss some polish on the wheels. After that, I'm just going to enjoy her for a while and relax. I was thinking about taking her back onto Mulholland, but that street is ****ing terrible for your suspension to drive on so I'm reconsidering. I may just hold out and hit Malibu next week instead with some friends. They like to go fast, but I'm not so keen on that.
