The hardest part was taking the sliding lid off- I was afraid I would break some part, but it turned out to be fairly easy. The basic instructions are posted at Redlinegoods website.

Also 512dart, your mini turned out great

Its a front wheel drive and you still have the weight up front, I don't see why it would spin the wheels.

Check out Craven Speed, http://www.cravenspeed.com/index.php?ukey=home, they've got GPS mounting kits. I like mine for the Garmin Nuvi.

Went to the All English Motor Car show in Fallbrook, CA. to gawp at the cars today. A friend (?) goaded me into entering Beelzebub in the judging completely unprepared. He won 2nd place in the all Mini/MINI class!! Bug guts, dirt, brake dust, road phlegm seedy looking owner and all. Didn't make us too popular with the detail freaks, but we'll take it. LMAO

PS: I think the judges were Norwegian!

I did the DIY AUX input mod today using a male ended cable. Sounds just about as good as the OEM, but now I can pick what songs to listen to as I'm driving instead of making mini-specific playlists.

Not with the MINI, but I did have a "MINI" printed skirt on along with my high heels in the "Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes" campaign to raise money for the local YWCA Woman's Shelter.

It wasn't today but this is the first time I've had a chance to post... visited the fine folks at Helix Miniworks in Philadelphia, PA and had a H-Sport 19mm rear sway bar installed and had an oil change done for good measure (first change in order to get any metal burrs or shavings out of the new block).

Drove a little and picked up an auto-up window module. Install was a breeze, and now I've got fogs on with lights, auto up windows, and I met a knowledgeable mini enthusiast!

Dr. Obnxs is a cool dude, and if you don't have one of these, get one! http://www.fes-auto.com/products_det...p?productid=35

He suggested a SC pulley in front of my gf, so maybe she'll let me get it now...

Not today but this is the first chance I got to post it. I changed the oil and rotated the tires (I can't believe I already have 40,000 miles on this set so far).

Tomorrow my replacement PS fan goes in. It's got a bad bearing so it buzzes, but still runs. I hear that dang buzz everywhere now. It's infected my mind.

This morning, when I turned the key, the left turn signals were stuck on. No matter what position the lever was in. You know how annoying it is to drive to work with the left signal on all the way? Got to work, pulled it into the shop and removed the turn signal switch. Disassembled it, cleaned all of the contact surfaces, re-assembled and re-installed it. Everything works perfect, now.

I had this exact same problem a couple weeks ago. I hit the hazards a couple times and finally it turned off.

Today I took a power drill to the stock bonnet air scoop to let more air flow through.
