R53 Slotted Side Panels

Yo RABIDFOX - MiniMania used to carry those slotted side panels. Might be worth a call to find out about their availability. Good Luck

Added a IPU (Invisible Pink Unicorn) decal to the inside passenger rear side window.
This along with the Fish'n'Chips fish emblem on the bum, and the SCIENCE
fish/rocket decal on the drivers rear side window should make my MINI
faster than the Christian adorned ones.

Hey Cristo, here's what your MINI really needs. Guaranteed to add at least 40WHP and 60WTQ to any MINI, LoL!

I did several things today...

Installed boot box (and filled it with stuff already... fire extinguisher, 1st aid kit, towels, extra clothes, grocery bags, trash bags, paper towels and some papers, LOL):

Put the new grill and grill trim on (decided on the mesh to match the bottom better):

Installed pet/cargo cover:

Installed factory roof rack and Yakima Bowdown kayak racks (no universal mounts required for these racks, they fit the factory bars):

Got a windshield chip repaired by Safelite Auto Glass. They did a good job.

Thanks!

I got the boot box from Outmotoring: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop..._boot_box.html

It was $ but I wanted something to store items in and for my pup to have a level surface to lay on.

I always wonder why people feel the need to disrespect Christianity by putting those emblems on. If you want to express your beliefs...that's fine, but why do you feel the need to make fun of and disrespect mine.

Yeah, I know it's cheesy, but I wanted to see if it would work, and I'm definitely doing this stuff on a budget right now. I figured I could see if there's any gain by a CAI type and if I like it without blowing $200.

I tried the K&N's they had in stock, but nothing would fit in the space provided or clamp down onto that 3" tube. Perhaps I'll be able to upgrade to a K&N in the future.

p.s.
I come from Chevy's too; I have an 88 K1500 and an 04 Z71 Tahoe. I used to have an 06 Sierra that was fast as hell too.

Where did you get that thing from? I saw one on amazon for like $250 but I think that's a necessity. Is the fit and quality worth $250?

All the used coopers I saw (except the one I bought) had been completely thrashed on the side panels by cargo being slammed around. Seems like a good way to protect your interior and the value of your car.

I got it from Outmotoring: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...rea_liner.html This one was $250 also but I feel the same way, I would rather spend money to protect things rather than have them messed up or pay to replace them later. This is mostly for my Golden Retriever but also cargo from time to time. It fits perfectly and is of good quality, I just got it tonight so haven't had time to test yet but it looks easy to clean and comes with a bag that it folds up and fits into when not in use.

More blue LEDs. A few days ago, I did the tach. Did the head unit tonight, but LEDs for the display (LCD panel) are very dim and I can't read it.

I know it's kind of petty, but I guess it stems the long history of the
Christian church disrespecting other peoples' beliefs (to put it mildly, in some cases).
I'm a Unitarian Universalist, and as such, draw from a wide range of belief systems,
don't feel there is a single right belief system than trumps others, and my actions
are meant to be directed at the religious organization, rather than individuals in that organization,
who deserve (or don't deserve) respect based on their own merits.

Personally, I don't have problems with many Christians I actually know. The problem is, the majority of them that are in the spot light JUST CAUSE PROBLEMS. Fox news network is a travesty, they have half of this country brain-washed. And I'm really happy that International Burn the Quran Day is getting so much publicity. Are we really that carnal?

Should I get together with some Native Americans and publicly burn bibles on Columbus Day?

Sorry for the rant, but if anyone has a problem the publicity their religion is getting, it's their job to step up to the plate and clear up that not all Christian Americans are rednecked bigots.

Been busy. Blacked out the beltline, plasti-dipped quite a few items, LOF, Claybar and wax, tire rotation, installed a 2nd Mini do more tach-on. Pondering new brakes. Replacing the MTF this weekend.

New tails, cleaned the windows (which is really about 1/2 the car, and doesn't take long at all!).

I love this car. <3

I appreciate the response. In my opinion, we are all hypocrites. There are extremest in every religion and culture. As for me...I believe it is not for me to judge one person or another, nor their religion or culture. Again, easier said than done...making myself the ultimate hypocrite...but I am striving to do better. I hope the same for you.
