Mother's Back to Black on the lower plastic and side mirrors. Looks amazing now. I didn't realize how faded it had gotten. I'll have to do the roof line next.

Also installed a new hood scoop grill from MiniFini.

I like how it looks with the new intercooler showing through the lower grill.

Installed the Madness 22mm rear say bar. It wasn't bad to install and I love the way it drives.

Did you just have a stock sway before or the 18mm? I am looking to do the same and would like to know how the ride has changed??

wet scrubbed all carpets, wet vac after it. 10 years of dirt the normal vac didn't get out, and the pedals all shiny again. While at it, put in LED in dome light and glove box that were supposed to be over the rear license plate but don't work in that position (needs a resistor there - gotta order more expensive kit there).

Does this have a lot more storage room than the factory one? Mine barely holds anything but a pocket knife and a few sets of keys, and, they all RATTLE like crazy in there so I decided to just leave it empty. Where did you get yours?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-MINI-Center-Storage-Armrest-Retrofit-Kit-Black-Leather-Part-52160429935-/131524396326?hash=item1e9f770526&vxp=mtr
It comes with a rubber pad so stuff inside doesn't slide around too much. The compartment is not seriously big, but it will hold sunglasses, smartphone and keys or a garage door remote -- the kinds of things that would normally be rattling around in the cup holders.

FlipTop Center Armrest Console - Black 52160429935

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/52160429935/

Its a pretty nice option if you dont have one , flip top , so you will not have the slide back problem like the factory armrest and holds more then the factory one.

Many thanks. Any idea what percentage (approximately) more storage room it has than the stock USA armrest?

Don't have a exact measurement, but there is about a 1/3 more space.

I know that feels, bro. I stay on the road a lot and alway miss driving when I'm out. It takes a bit to get reacquainted with all of her idiosyncrasies.

Well yesterday.... gave it good wash and hand wax. and replaced wiper blades.
Stupid me- I applied the wax to the bonnet stripes and now they're a bit hazy. Any thoughts on how to safely get the wax of the stickers?
Feel free to PM.

Thanks.

Some light rubbing compound or a scratch fix rubbing compound with take most of it off. Don't use the aggressive scratch remover. Test if first, most wax marks come off with a microfiber towel, very clean.

Very nice JCW wheels. 32300403545

Before I even had coffee this morning I pulled the trigger on a few new bits...
K&N typhoon intake
Over filter
GFB DV+
Fresh spark plugs
Roll of DynaLiner for inside wheel wells
Roll of adhesive heat barrier for underside of K&N filter box and mt REV heat shield

I'm going to be pretty busy next few days off :-)
