Finally figured it all out and sorted.

All new and shiny, sprayed the lot with contact cleaner. Wire brushed heaps of crap off the hubs, sprayed it with contact cleaner, and wiped it over with inox to stop more.

Went out and bedded them in this arvy. Followed the instructions from QFM and it seems to be a pretty balanced system. All four rotors were between 65 C and 70 C after the first round of stops, and 115 C to 120 C the second time. Pedal feel is a bit spongy so I need to bleed it. Must have been when we were trying to get the stupid pad to retract last night. Stops beautifully though!

Hood switch just plugs in with the little additional bracket right near the firewall / ECU. then plugs into the harness.

Those factory alarms are enough to wake the whole city.

Just spent the past few hours washing and waxing the barrels of my wheels. If that isn't dedication, I don't know what is lol

Oh, and thats not rust in the middle. I just keep the hubs greased.

Replaced a rear wheel hub last night. Wow - that was a huge difference. All of that annoying road noise is gone. I should have done that fix a while ago.

Thanks guys. Believe it or not, I got all the junk off with just a wet sponge and some soapy water. I had waxed them before I installed them though so thats probably why everything came off so easily. If yours are really bad, I hear Iron X is the stuff to get though.

I have a couple a things planned for today. I'll report back later.

I bought my mini!

Prior to picking it up I've already ordered a JB+ for day to day driving and then summer wheels and rubber for track days and autox.

Angled Shifter Rod and New Purge Button ****

Added a little more height to the B&M SSK shift stalk with a threaded/angled extension. The slight bend brings the shifter **** a bit closer to the driver.

Then topped it with a new shift **** with SPST purge button for CRY02 sprayer for intercooler.

Last Thursday swapped out the JCW Struts for Bilstein Sport Struts, installed a stud kit and 5mm spacers.

Topped it off with a new set of satin black 16x7 et38 - Enkei GT7's wrapped with Nitto Neogen - 205/50/16.

Had to get some more hardware for the GP under body panels, hopefully finish those off next week.

Looks great rAvEn, good to keep the mods going after many years of ownership.

Thanks bav, tracks nicely now, hardness of suspension is gone.

The JCW rear struts were shot, fronts were marginal still had some gas left, but hey, they lasted about 80K and was living with suspension harshness for last 20K so time for replacement. It had been my third set of JCW struts so figured I give the Bilstein Sports a try.
