Thats a easy question to answer. The pink mustache... Well my sister bought a new car and i got her a pink mustache but she didn't want to have a "Mustache ride" her exact words so i put it on my car because but i didn't want to spend that $20 for nothing. Turns out it gets a lot of attention.

With the lights and light bar well the 4 rally lights up front i broke one during my cross country move out to California from Connecticut (job transfer) and with the LED light bar well i blame that on youtube and me and my f@#$ it attitude to trying something different.

It's not really their fault. I'm sure they just look up the job in the flat rate book and add all the jobs together.

Look up replace shocks. the job includes drive the car in, get on lift, remove tires...

Look up replace ball joint, Includes drive car in, get on lift take off wheels.

Rear anti roll bar, yep, drive car in, get on lift, remove tire. Tons of duplication, and they absolutely don't give that a thought.

Now if you could actually convince them to do the job on straight time and materials, even at their shop rate, it might not be so bad. And they do have to pay for that fancy dealership. They sure don't do it on sales from cars. The service department almost always carries the profit load.

Yeah, too much black in the front. I've always liked the look of the black grill with a chrome surround. Also, the grill that came with the kit doesnt fit quite as well so I just ended up using the aero grill and modified chrome piece I already had. The aero grill I already had is an S grill and the one that comes in the kit is obviously for a Cooper, but based on my installation, it would appear many of the mounting locations and angles of the LCI Cooper parts were homogenized to the S locations and angles. I have a feeling even the bottom mounting holes would have matched up better had I gotten the S kit. I don't know what Mini was thinking when they decided to design 2 different grill shapes and front bumpers for the 07-10 R56s.

Tell me about it! I have an "S" but had to order the "Cooper" kit to get the Blackband Aero Kit blow out sale a couple months back. Turns out it didnt have the brake ducts AND the lower black "S" trim will NOT fit on the "Cooper" JCW bumper without trimming (not much mind you). But really, why the difference for the exact same mounting points for the same appearance bumper? Whyyyyyyy?!

yeah, if you read my post a page back, you'll see the brake duct kit will fit on the Cooper front but will need to be modified in order to fit on account of the deeper lower grill opening. I believe all of the differences in bumpers between S and regular were just for the sake of product differentiation and exclusivity. Sort of like how us lowly Cooper owners had to buy $150 worth of stainless steel pedals to retrofit what comes standard on S's and how the autos don't get paddle shifters.

Tinted

Not terribly exciting, but just got my windows tinted, 35% on rear window and back side windows, 50% on driver and passenger windows. I think the black tint ties well with black roof, mirrors and wheels. Can't wait for black and grey checkered side mirror covers to arrive later this week.

Do you have any pictures of the tint? I'm thinking of either doing the same as you or 35% all around. Can't make up my mind yet haha

Haha it's ok. Thanks for the pics! I'm not sure if it's just the pictures but the 50% in front matches with the 35 a lot better than I expected. The 50% looks darker than I thought it would too. Maybe it's just the lighting/angle
