Ahhhh! I can't wait to wash the MINI> She looks like shiite all whiiite from the nasty road salt! I can't bare to know what that salt is doing to my paint job! It's driving me nuts, but too cold to wash her still! Ugh! 2 more days...

 

After Parking my 03 for almost a month I was able to replace the supercharger, spark plugs,idler pulley,belt,w/pump,thermostat and housing over the weekend. I took her for a spin this evening after work and boy oh boy do I love this car!!!

Just wish I had replaced the tensioner as well, as I still seem to have some unfamiliar noise coming from the front of the engine.

 

A couple friends and I we're bored and had paint markers laying around, as a result we started painting the tire letters for laughs; now I actually kind of like them

Although, if they were to come off I probably wouldn't redo them.

 

Ha! Nice. How bout huge gansta white walls! LOL. Anyone ever done that. I'm not considering however...:>)

 

Not my car, but I've seen white walls on a MINI before in person. Not something I would do, but to each his own.

 

Should have gone out the passenger door to leave the snow all virgin like. Anyway, fun. I ain't going there!

Looks like a new model: The "MINI Locomotive" hahaha

 

I think it looks good on this. It recalls the old hot-rod look with the red wheels and black car....

Whats wrong with wide whites? I am seriously contemplating them for my car... However with the RUSTIC nature of how I am doing my makeover, they will complete the look!

Too cold lately to get out and get anything done. :(

Started the body work on the new hood last month, but other than that nothing new.

 

Take it from me, the maintenance on a black MINI is headache enough without the addition of whitewalls to scrub.

 

There is nothing wrong with them as long as the style of wheels match the white wall tires

 

Just finished my side scuttles, emblems, and wheel caps. Was going to wash it, but it's raining. Maybe tomorrow.

Ive seen those white walls on a PT Crusier once, but not the right look on a Mini.

I turned on the bright lights, adding rally lights and LED daytime running lights.

 

Yesterday: 15% Alta pulley, replaced tensioner and belt.
Today: Front EBC Greenstuff brake pads

 

Got my BC Coilovers from the UPS man...my WMW downpipe delayed by inclement weather in the South...& my big daddies CEL Angled fix is Somewhere in USPS...

 

Bummer. What's going on with the gauges on your dash? I think you mentioned it in passing once on your thread. Any chance I could get you to take a couple pix of their mounting?

Received WMW Downpipe yesterday! Along with the diverter valve. Will be installing next weekend!
