Hi Jasnine, I hope that they can fix your car soon it's ever frustrating when they can not find the problem, I think that you need a new dealer a new battery, post on the 2nd generation forum and I'm sure more people with your car model will jump in to help and give some pointers on what could it bel good luck

IIRC I read on here somewhere that the window malfunction is a precursor to battery failure. Sounds like it might be right and you're getting that done so I'll be interested if that solves your problem. Good luck.

You can also modify your own, if you're careful. You can flatten one side to make it easier for the oil to show up. You can also notch the upper and lower bulbs so that oil can go around them more easily. You can also put notches across the plastic or shallow divots in the plastic to retain oil and make it easier to see.

It was even suggested to me by an SA at the local dealer that some white paint on the plastic part of the dipstick might make the oil show up more easily!

.... Or just send some $$ to Cravenspeed, who has a solution that we know works... (As was previously mentioned.)

Is the car turning over as you have jump started it, but, have also had spark plugs replaced. Also the new key helped.

Sorry I'm late with the pictures, been a little busy. But here's the pictures of the install couldn't get a real chance to roll under but maybes some day. Please excuse the salt! It was a freaking wind chill of like -25 in Ohio all last weekend! It just ain't Christian... Couldn't put the new badge on either because of the salt.

Jake - Looks good.

I bet you like the throttle and exhaust sound.

Putting on the JCW badge on the trunk , I would wait till it warms up and clean to apply it. Goes on the left hand side of the trunk ( boot ) horizontal to the Cooper badge.

Looks like the air intake scoop is broken, and snapped in all the way. And check the flex pip material, it like to shrink after a while and pop off the inlet tubes.

Let us know how it sounds to you.

I like the sound in the lower range but once I get above 3000 it's a little batter than stock but still very similar haven't been able to see how it sounds without the roof so hopefully It will sound in a little but more.
Overall I'm happy with the sound. And happy it's not ricer loud.

The first two photos are the freshly painted gloss-black housings. The second one shows just how glossy they are. The third is the OEM projector shroud. It was originally chrome, but has been sandblasted so it can be painted gloss black as well. In case anyone wonders, paint does not stick to chrome very well.

I thought about doing the housings matte black, but it made the housings look like cheap plastic. So I opted for the gloss. I also thought about paint-matching the projector shrouds to my calipers, which will be hot pink, but I decided against that one too.

Any pics of the end result? Headlights and the entire MINI? Sounds like it'll look great!

Yea, It even sounds better with the top down. When you drive it for a long while and the exhaust system warms up, the sound even gets better. Down shifts sound great. Sounds close to the JCW exhaust of the Cooper S. Once it warms up it will have a little burble on down shifts.

Nice BRG / Cordoba beige on Green top. Looks like you painted the R93 15" rockets black.

Did an oil and filter change yesterday. Next one will be done by dealer in 5k miles according to OBC.

Also, couldn't help myself any longer and ordered the GP2 rear diffuser. Will get the front belly pan when tax return comes in.

Later today, I'm getting windows tinted too! I'm excited.
