What did you use? I've grown quite fond of Optimum brand products.

This is awesome.
After I spent so much of the weekend cleaning, I had to get a pic of all my hard work before I pulled out into a rainy day. To my surprise it still looks good now.

So I will probably get the Optimum next. I called all around, no one has it on the shelf. Oriely's nor Napa in my town had any kind of rinseless car wash.

Finally I found some TurtleWax Brand rinseless car wash at Walmart of all places.

Damn. That's an awesome deal.

Today, I put in a new engine air filter. Getting that hose clamp to snap was horrible. I had to get someone else to help me...so now, search for a new hose clamp and coolant (mine leaked a little).

If you haven't spent the 92 yet I would check around. Goodyear dealers patched my old GY runflats and would probably do those too...

Wash/clay/polish

Whoever did it before me didn't do a good enough job for my likings so I took matter into my own hands. Attached is some before and after pictures. You can see the swirls in the side shot

Awesome!

I think we all deserve a deeper discussion of the detail, complete with links and a How To.

I want these on mine!

Enter the rabbit hole...

BTW, I did a ZKW-R lens swap on my R56 and it gave me great color and a very nice cutoff. The stock cutoff on the e46 lenses was super fuzzy, I hated it.

The better-half's MINI, "Frau Blau", had her battery go t!ts-up (4 years, 63k miles). Started fine, drove 52 miles, stopped for gas, and wouldn't restart.

MINI roadside service came out and jump started her, but battery would not accept a charge. Jumped it a 2nd time, and we kept it running until we got home. Took battery to the local Interstate Battery store for testing. It was putting out 8 CCA, so 156 bucks later, "Frau Blau" has a new 730CCA batt.

I would think so. The way you can tell is by looking inside the tire. If you see tire powder/grinding tire pieces than it's gone for sure.
Interesting story, when I bought some Michelin PSS for the first time for my other car with a 225/45/18 profile, I got a flat. The thing is the profile was so low I did not realize it right away. I must have drove about 8 miles (half on the highway) before I parked and realized the tire was flat. It was on the rear on a FWD and I did not feel much while driving. All this to say RFT are not extraordinary. They just have a thicker side wall allowing you to drive some distance before the tire is totally shot from the rubber having grinned itself from the inside.

Did this yesterday!! MINI LED DRL retrofit kit. Kit was $438.00 from the dealer. No coding required. It's took five hours so there kinda plug and play.... I did not remove the bumper to accomplish the retrofit.
