Picked up JiMini! The knocking from the motor mount is gone, the oil leak stopped, and the pulley feels good. Not sure if it was worth the $350 yet, but I could just be cranky from no sleep and driving ONE mile in ONE hour today. Some fools robbed a bank, so they shut down the freeway to find the guns they tossed...

Gonna try to connect to the mini using the NCSexpert and see how it goes.

YES! And everyone was like playing leapfrog, trying to cut everyone else off and then merging in at the last second...then all the surface streets were stuffed with people...total drag.

Btw, I tested the pulley on the way to school, and it was worth the cost.

$350 for a pulley, install, motor mount, and oil leak fix is actually really good.

I may do the pulley soon, but today it was all about just enjoying the drive. So what I did to my Mini? Made it plans to go to MOTD, and had a nice drive.

I've done -24 Celcius before. I had to let him warm up a bit first, but once that was done he loved it. Superchargers & intercoolers sure like that cold charge air, it felt like a few extra HP. Oh yeah, and seat heaters are pretty much a requirement at those temps.

The $350 was the cost of the parts ($200) and labor ($150). The other stuff cost me the $200 warranty deductible ($800 bill).

Do 2011's have pulleys?

Not supercharger pulleys, which are usually the ones people talk about.

Not today but the past week...

1. Topped off the pulley side of my SC fluid
2. Installed an Alta belt tensioner stop
3. Installed an autometer boost gauge

Got a few more things to do once parts arrive.. Crank position sensor gasket, oil pan gasket, oil change...

took most of the day. Had to make template, cut a 8" piece of aluminum bar in two pieces, figure out the recess on the bottoms location, make six special stainless nuts to set down into plate,...ect....I enjoyed it tho.

Thanks for the kind words...

It was 40 degrees here now so the guys at Advance Auto Parts were washing cars so took mine up and had them clean it. I'll tell you, I usually only hand wash it myself but I let them do it. They did a darn good job.
Good cause....group of kids for trouble youth.

Fount a black hood scoop that my brother had hidden away in the garage, I think it looks nice with the eclipse grey cooper.

Jealous of the pack of MINIS, morphix.

But my winter wheels are finally powder coated and mounted.

Dang Morphix, pretty nice collection you got going there.

Installed the Alta discharge pipe today. My butt dyno tells me there is a trade-off of low-end torque for midrange hp. Not a lot but noticeable.
