Hey all. I'm going to be purchasing a new 2020 2-door hardtop S this weekend. The car is on the dealers lot, and it's naked - no bonnet stripes. I'd like to get those stripes that are wide black in the middle, and have a thin red stripe on both sides. My Motoring Advisor says they have been discontinued. Do you know if this is true?

 

There are a lot of local shops out there that cut and lay vinyl and can do some custom work, I'd ask other people at your MINI dealer if they have a recommendation. I'd go with anything but MINI OEM for stripes for sure.

Sounds like MINI of Mt. Laurel has a company they work with. Give their service department a call, they should be able to give you some more direction

 

You can also find TONS of online stripe makers.

I bought a set once by accident. I was buying some stuff from aliexpress, I didn't realize I selected the wrong thing. When I got it, it was not what I expected lol... So you can have it. It's red outer/black inner. Just pay shipping. PM me.

I just went to my local vinyl shop had had them make and apply the hood stripes, the grille stripe and the red roof wrap. Certainly cheaper than the dealership and I could spec satin black for the centre of the hood stripes instead of gloss black. I feel it looks better on a black car.

Otherwise you can have them made and have something unique or custom. . Get the OEMs if you like to keep it OEM.

They are not the center sport stripes but if you change your mind its still a good deal for the traditional ones.

Its not hard to do them yourself, just get some painters tape, good putty knife, and some mild soap spray.
