Where is the best place to buy viper stripes? My dealership said it would cost 450$ to buy them and have them installed. So i am thinking to buy them somewhere else and have the dealership just install them.

 

Try going to any local custom car graphics vinyl shop and see how much a custom job would be. It's not like it's a very intricate design or anything; it's just two rectangular stripes afterall. Make sure you have them use a very good quality premium vinyl though; you don't want some cheap crud adhered to your precious MINI.

Alternatively, you can order some from a place like cooperflags.com and apply them yourself. Are you going for the hood only, or from bonnet to boot (similar to my MCS attached below)?

I am currently working with him on a custom viper stripe scheme, and he is coming up with some extremely cool stuff.

I just PM'd him yesterday and he has already come up with some great ideas based on what input I've given him.

FYI...I have no affiliation with his company, nor do I get a "hook up" on who I refer. I have just had a hard time finding viper stripes that were unique, and he came up with some ideas really close to what I was looking for right off the bat.

 

Yeah I just ordered boot and side stripes from DragonFlyer and the customer service has been aces. I personally can't attest to the product yet though. I have the vinyl, now I just need the MINI.

I got mine here at a local vinyl grapics shop, and we tracked the guy that installs the bonnett stripes at Mini Center, he put the stripes on my car, however it took me couple of months, at the end I got sick and tired of trying to keep them clean. It is truely pain in the butt to deal with them sometimes.

Finally removed them, however they looked pretty awesome.
