I received a new mini on Thursday and traded in my '11. Pictures of how I had the old one as well as the new one are attached. I'm looking at again adding sport stripes (black) to the new Mini and was wondering on peoples opinions on Sport vs. Rally stripes? Thanks in advance!!!

Why not try the No Stripes look for a few months? To my eye that red looks great without added embellishment. (Or, add the dark checkered mirror caps instead of stripes).

It does look sexy the way it is; such a pretty paint job!!!
I searched the entire internet and could only find one photo of a 2014+ with the Sport stripes. Since I've already ordered them I'm going to stick with my first choice which is black. Here's the JCW I found. I did find another in the 2014+ picture thread. I think keeping it two tone as opposed to adding white will work best for my eye.

I had it done by Promax in Alhambra, CA. It was recommended by AZN Optics. Came out very nice. I was paying homage to my 1972 1275GT That I had when stationed in Rota, Spain.
I loved that car!
It was BRG with a big white stripe on the driver's side. OH IF I HAD A TIME MACHINE! I was 22 and dumb and listened to people saying don't bring it back with you it will cost to much...blah, blah, blah! It cost me $80 and I put $250 into it! Yes, it ate voltage regulators but replaced with one from the junk yard for $5 every 2 weeks kind of like getting gas. It also could have used paint after the repairs I did to it but, it was still a blast!

I think I remember that thread actually. I like the sentimental background of the stripe though. Maybe one day in the future you'll find one like it and be able to import it. Otherwise, it created good memories though!
