I've been through this whole thread and have a list of what I want changed:

Play ringtone from phone
With auto lock enabled, all doors unlock with ignition shutoff
A/C System Remembers Last Setting
Turn off radio/nav when opening drivers door

I also have a wish list:
Add profile A2DP to play music via BT?
Stop asking if I want to configure green mode every time I activate it.

Is there someone in Los Angeles who can help me with this? Please PM me.

This one you can fix on your own. Go to Settings --> Driving Modes --> and turn off Driving mode info.

Switching driving modes will still change the light ring (if you have it configured that way under Center Instrument), but you won't get the popup about configuring every time you switch it.

I don't have Driving Modes under Settings.

I know this, of course, because I have Base Radio, and would also very much like to enable A2DP

Exactly. It's unsightly to have the Aux cable running up to the phone for music.

Ah, missed that part!

There's a way to add A2DP on BMW base radios, so I can only assume there is a similar process for F56s.

As for your driving mode configuration pop up....There's a way to disable it on the Visual Boost and XL headunits, I'm actually surprised the base radio doesn't have that same option...

Any coders able to help me???

I have fitted the bumper from the John Cooper Works to my Cooper S.

As people will know... the bumper is different in so much as the fog light assembly (which also contains the sidelights) is deleted and replaced with honeycomb grilles

The headlights on my car are LED headlights with an incorporated DRL LED 'horseshoe' ring. This headlight is also stock on the JCW car however, unlike the Cooper S it uses this DRL ring as its sidelights instead of the separate unit in the lower bumper like on the Cooper S.

Anyway without complicating things any further...currently this is the sequence associated with the headlight switch on the car as it stands:

1) headlight position switched to 'off' = LED DRL in headlight ON / rear lights OFF
2) headlight position switched to 'sidelight' = LED DRL in headlight OFF / LED sidelight in bumper ON / rear lights ON
3) headlight position switched to 'on' = LED DRL in headlight ON [with reduced brightness] / LED sidelight in bumper ON / LED dipped beam ON / rear lights ON

What I want to happen is for the car to replicate the JCW in terms of lighting which would be:

1) headlight position switched to 'off' = LED DRL in headlight ON / rear lights OFF
2) headlight position switched to 'sidelight' = LED DRL in headlight ON / rear lights ON

So in basic terms, I want my car to use the LED DRL's [which are built into the headlight] as the side lights, since my Cooper S will no longer have the fogs / sidelights in the lower bumper...

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Available Coder in Cleveland Ohio area?

Good evening Ladies and gentleman,

I am very new to this forum. I just found it and love it already.

I am a semi new MINI owner and looking to code/program my car.
My first MINI was a R60 JCW - I recently traded it for a 15 F55.
The five door is amazing - Love it! I am looking for someone I can have program/code my car for Video while in motion, roll up windows with fob, fogs with high beams and iPhone ringer.

If anyone can help I would be forever grateful. Let me know.

Thank you everyone and Have a wonderful evening.

You should be able to enable bluetooth on the base radio. I have not tried this as I have connected+boost but you'll need to re-code the FA; change 6NH to 6NS in the VO menu

I think somebody already tried changing the VO long time ago and failed.

I didn't try because I'm thinking the base radio doesn't have the necessary software (there's nothing in the menu where you can select Bluetooth stream). So even though the hardware is there, the software is not ready for it and will probably never be, unless MINI changes something or you shell out $500 for the visual upgrade. It's pretty stupid that they don't include Bluetooth streaming in stock configuration in this age. I just use a Sandisk micro USB flash drive which sticks out less than 5mm.

The person who did my coding said that there was nothing he could do with my particular car in regards to upgrading the BT.

Keep that download and get the CAFD files from the last "Lite" version.

I've been hunting around for a few hours now and been unable to find any info for adding steering wheel controls to a 08 Justa.. oddly they optioned paddle shifting but not SWC for the audio system. I'm familiar with coding and hoping it's just about enabling it.

I haven't tested this one, but mine looks even crappier than the $5 one I linked. I posted it somewhere in page 3 or somewhere. It works fine. They don't have any special chip or anything so there's no reason to be expensive.

I tried the mirror tilt, but it needs something called mirror memory. I think they only come with certain options. Folding mirrors, or a display upgrade or something. My 2015 F56 didn't work, and I only have Sports Package.

I actually wanted to lower the voltage hoping it'll make it last longer, but didn't see any difference. The headlight is way brighter than I need it to be. I have a LED headlight by the way.
