new thread

I'm thinking that Gil-galad needs to start a R4TO thread for us once he gets done tinkering with the weather in GA.

Here is a link to MC2 Magazine with pictures and info on MINI's newest vehicle-The Countryman. I think it will be popular even though it isn't very mini in size.

A funny thing happened to me today -- I decided to give the garage floor a good cleaning and lo and behold my MINI got in the way...

Which reminds me of the need to re-post the ever popular Dusting the MINI video.

on a side note....(trumpet fanfare)
can someone post the EIM 2010 Calender somewhere.
It doesnt work very well as a pocket calender and i'd like a few family and friends to see the amazing MINI's.
can someone help me out on this? my apologies if it's already been done. a thousand pardons for my idiocity.

everyone must be busy shoveling snow. i have finished my snow shoveling so i thought i'd jump on here and see whats new. not a sports fan here but man Manning kinda blew it with that pass. i was hoping theyd make the push and tie it up until that play. i wasnt happy with the 2pt conversion play either. if the ball just needs to cross the line then whats the point of running a ball into the end zone? why not stop short and stick your arm out with ball in hand. just my thoughts.

I don't think the shoveling will truly be done for another couple of days...but it could be worse!

I lived on the Gulf Coast for a few years at which time I became a long-suffering "Aint" fan, right at the peak of the "paper bags over the head" days. OT would have been fun, but it was nonetheless a satisfying day of pigskin for me.

there is a link here of pics https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...i-p-minny.html

I have replaced it with:

Bonnet stipes
Panther Leather
Premium
Sport
Cold Weather
HK/with built in Sirius

I'll post pics whenever it stops snowing (April?)

Yep, saw your post in the other thread... for Minny -- I loved the "clean" look you achieved with the de-badging, etc., and I always thought your wheels would look great on my MINI. Glad you are okay--that's the most important thing.

I really love the LY/W color combo. It's one of the all-time best. Can't wait to see it!

Thanks for your post in our chat thread. Stay in touch!

i will be receiving a late xmas present this weekend. i'm not sure if it qualifies as a mod but it will change the look of my MINI.
i'm getting a boot badge holder and badges. I'm going to have a tough time deciding which ones get to ride on the holder.

'Ello Govnor's...
I have an EXCELLENT Wintertime Chatroom subject.....

My girlfriend recently did the laundry and found chapstick in the dryer. She said it was my fault for not cleaning out my pockets before they went into the basket. I don't disagree on on that. I told her she should check the pockets before they go into the wash. The person washing the clothes is the "last line of defense" to prevent accidents from happening.

SO....Whoever is doing the laundry should check pockets yes or no?
Please explain your answers.

Yes, the laundry person should check. The careless person who left something in his/her pockets should have some consequences, however. If it's money, the laundry person should keep it, for example. If leaving stuff in pockets becomes a chronic problem, the careless person needs to do his/her own laundry.
